At 10:10 pm, our selection is on the Minnesota Twins and Seattle Mariners 'under' the total. It will be interesting to see how the Twins do now that they're back on the road and playing in the stingiest park in the American League. They just finished a 10 game home-stand and they didn't have too much trouble scoring runs in their new home ballpark, but in their three road games before they started the home-stand, they scored just two runs per game. They have the benefit of sending righthander Nick Blackburn to the hill tonight and Blackburn is probably the most surprising six-game winner in the league (and he's lost just once). Amazingly, Blackburn has won each of his five May starts, including his only road start which just happened to be at Yankee Stadium. He likely won't need much run support tonight against the light-hitting Seattle line-up, but his opposing starter is lefthander Jason Vargas who's no slouch in his own right with a 3-2 record and 3.12 ERA. The under is 19-7-1 in Blackburn's last 27 road starts, and opponents are hitting barely over .200 (.207 to be precise) vs. Vargas. Take the 'under.'

I really like the LA Dodgers in this game vs the Arizona Diamondbacks...I like the pitching matchup and this kid J.Ely has really been throwing the ball well...D.Haren has not pitched like he has in the past...LA has won six of seven meetings this year and the Snakes have now dropped eight straight games...look for LA to get the W...I like them straight and on the run line
