300♦ CHICAGO WHITE SOX RUN LINE (LIST Buehrle over Bergesen) - Like I told you about this team yesterday, it’s looking to make a run at the AL Central and knows there’s a good chance at getting within a split-hair of first since Detroit is in the Bronx visiting the Yankees. After last night’s win for us, and the Tigers’ loss to New York, the South Siders are now sitting 2-1/2 back of first place. Got no problem laying a run line once again, which means I’ll once again have an auto-list of the pitchers, so I am banking on Mark Buehrle to out duel Brad Bergesen – no problem!Let me start with Buehrle, who has been tremendous at U.S. Cellular Field this season, going 5-1 with a 2.98 ERA in 10 starts. The southpaw, who is 9-3 on the year, is 4-2 with a 2.66 ERA in 10 career starts against the Orioles.Buehrle pitched an inning in the All-Star Game, so he was pushed back a day for extra recovery time. Remember yesterday I told you I was contemplating the pitching change to Johnny Danks, well, it was Buehrle who was supposed to start. Either way, it’s all good, because I won the game and will do so again. Buehrle comes in off what was arguably his worst start of the first half, so I am expecting the extreme opposite tonight.As for Bergesen, this is a welcome pitching change, as the South Siders have been looking forward to facing this kid after an embarrassing loss on April 21. He won his major league debut against the White Sox by allowing three runs over 5-2/3 innings in a 10-3 victory. He’s an impressive pitcher, most of the Orioles’ young hurlers are; but the fact is, the right-hander is 0-2 with a 4.82 ERA in six road outings.And with this one on the South Side, he’s going to have to face the likes of a red-hot Jim Thome, who has three home runs and 14 RBI in his last three games, including a grand slam and three-run shot in last night’s 12-8 victory, and a career-high seven RBI.Chicago is 11-3 on Saturday this year, including 6-0 at home, and I’m betting this one will be a blowout.
