Rocketman

NY Mets @ LA Dodgers
Play On: NY Mets -136

NY Mets take on the Dodgers in Los Angeles in Game Two of this 4 game series. NY Mets are 30-19 this year against right handed starters. LA Dodgers have lost 5 in a row and 9 of their last 10 games overall. NY Mets are scoring 5.4 runs per game their past seven games overall. LA Dodgers are scoring only 3.9 runs per game overall this year and 1.9 runs per game their past seven games overall. RA Dickey has been awesome for the Mets going 11-1 with a 2.31 ERA overall this year, 5-1 with a 2.89 ERA on the road this season and 2-0 with a 1.87 ERA his last 3 starts. Dickey has a 2.13 ERA in all starts vs LA Dodgers in his career. Aaron Harang is 3-3 with a 6.05 ERA in all starts vs the NY Mets in his career. LA Dodgers are 1-7 last 8 home games vs a right handed starter. LA Dodgers are 0-7 last 7 games after scoring two run or less in their previous game. Mets are 4-1 last 5 meetings overall in this series. Dickey has been outstanding for the Mets and I see that continuing here tonight. We'll recommend a small play on the NY Mets tonight!

Ross King

Arizona D-Backs vs. Milwaukee Brewers
Play: Arizona D-Backs

Arizona bullpen has an e.r.a of 1.08 in the last 6 games and it is no secret Kennedy has struggled this year but fresh in his mind and in the players mind's is the fact they have lost 4 straight in Milwaukee including the postseason last year so revenge should motivate them for this one.Wolf has yet to win in his last 10 starts thanks in part to their bullpen.Take Arizona as your freeplay winner in a good revenge spot and red hot Aaron Hill is looking for his 1000th hit tonight.

SPORTS WAGERS

Detroit -109 over TAMPA BAY

Much like yesterday’s opener in which Max Scherzer opposed James Shields, today’s starters are very close also but once again it’s the offense of the Tigers that give them a decided edge in this one. Tampa’s offense has disappeared. They’re hitting under .210 over the past month and have scored eight times in their past four games. Three of those games came in Kansas City against the league’s second worst pitching staff. Facing one of the game’s best in Justin Verlander, one has to wonder how this anemic Rays offense will muster anything. The Tigers offense remains one of the most potent in the league. They’ve scored 27 times over their past four games and put up another five last night against Shields’ and the bullpen. Tigers are picking up steam and Verlander should dominate this lineup. Play: Detroit -109 (Risking 2.18 units to win 2).

Fairway Jay

LA Angels at Toronto
Play: Los Angeles

Two more winners Thursday including our 20* Big Drive American League Underdog Game of the Month winner on the Tigers as they pounded out 15 hits to continue the Rays’ struggles in a 5-2 victory. You can review my full game written analysis of the Tigers win in our recap section with full transparency. Along with our winner on the Diamondbacks, we extend our recent run to 14-4 including 9-1 on our top-play Big Drive selections. With over +12 units of profit this month and a majority of underdog side selections, we’ll continue to search for value and swing a big bat; urrr club with Big Bertha.

Tonight we fire right back with a 20* Big Drive play in National League action as Fairway’s faithful followers and clients reap the rewards of our recent run and profit throughout the month of June from our information and insight. Tonight’s Big Bertha Big Drive comes complete with even greater in-depth analysis and additional thoughts on betting value.

The recent struggles of the LA Dodgers and their fall from first place is one of many examples of teams that can go from hot to cold in a very short time. Tonight we make a case for the Los Angeles Angels in a match-up of two teams going opposite directions. Toronto (38-38) sits in last place in the NL East despite playing .500 ball. But the Blue Jays have lost three in a row including four of their last five games while allowing 9, 10, 5, 6 and 9 runs. Now they send reliever Carlos Villanueva to the mound to make his first start of the season. He’s forced into the rotation as three Blue Jays starters are on the shelf for an extended time. Villanueva will face a red-hot Angels lineup swinging some big sticks, and the Blue Jays bullpen has been taxed recently and also has the second-worst ERA in the American League. The Angels (43-33) have won four-straight games and over their last eight contests, LA has scored 5 or more runs seven times while averaging 7.6 runs and hitting .355 over that stretch.

The Angels have also won 14 of their last 15 road games and starter Ervin Santana is pitching his best of the season following a pair of home starts in which he threw 17 innings and allowed just 2 earned runs, 5 hits and struck out 15 (1 BB). His road ERA is a concern (5.79), but in early May he struck out 10 Blue Jays batters over 8 innings while allowing just 3 hits in a 4-0 Angels loss.

The Angels hitters can’t wait to get to the ballpark while the Blue Jays batters know they have to hit to support their poor pitching. The match-ups and form look favorable for another Angels win.
