Washington @ Milwaukee
Play On: Milwaukee +119

The Washington Nationals travel to Milwaukee to take on the Brewers on Saturday night. Washington is scoring only 3.3 runs per game on the road this year where they have a team batting average of only .220. Dan Haren toes the rubber for Washington this evening where he is 5-11 with a 5.49 ERA overall this year and 1-7 with a 4.99 ERA on the road this season. Donovan Hand starts for Milwaukee where he has a 3.56 ERA in 17 games this year, 3.65 ERA in five starts this season and has a nice 2.08 ERA in his two starts at home this year. We'll recommend a small play on Milwaukee tonight!

St. Louis Cardinals +145

Cardinals right now are hot. After losing the first 4 games against the Pirates they have won back to back games and have put up 24 runs. I look for that to continue on Saturday night despite facing a young Tony Cingrani who has been great. Cingrani has been great, but their is just too much value on the Cardinals in this spot. Cingrani struggles with control sometimes walking 3.48 guys per 9 and he's been largely helped out by a 83.1% LOB% and .240 BABIP. The Cardinals are #1 in average and OPS with runners on. He also has a very high LD% which makes me like the Cards even more because they are #1 with a 22.6% LD.

A further look in on the Cardinals vs. starters who have control issues (3.48 BB/9 or greater) results in 17 starters that they have faced this year. Starting pitchers facing the Cardinals who have control issues have just a 5.85 ERA. Jake Westbrook will make the start for the Cards and over his last 4 vs. the Reds has been dominant with a 1.91 ERA.

Don Best Consensus

Atlanta Braves at Philadelphia Phillies
Pick: Atlanta Braves

The Braves are 5-0 in their last 5 vs. a team with a losing record. The Phillies are 2-11 in their last 13 overall and 1-4 in Lee's last 5 starts.
