The White Sox were 5-2 in the 2nd game of a series on the road following a loss in game 1 before the All Star Break. Since then they are 1-5 in this spot. I think getting the A’s at plus money merits another trip to the well today. Here are what the pale sox have done since the all star break:

These trends are just too much value to pass up and as you can see today there is a healthy percentage of Joe Public thinking that the white sox will bounce back today. Lets be on the sharp side and look to get things done in game 2 of this series.

Take Arizona over the Los Angeles Dodgers
Jon Garland gets his second consecutive start vs. his former team on Wednesday after shutting down the Diamondbacks for seven innings holding them to two earned runs and striking out six. Arizona will send ace Danny Haren to the bump, after a great start to the season when Haren didn’t receive much run support he went through a stretch in late July to mid August where he posted a 2-3 record with a 5.75 era but has since bounced back in his last three starts with a 3.15 era , he is 1-1 with a 1.71 era vs. the Dodgers this year. He didn’t have his best stuff in his last start at Colorado but still made it through six innings giving up two runs. I thought this line would come a tad lower then the opening number send out by the oddsmaker’s of Arizona -1.25 favorite, but with the Dodgers struggles at the plate I will back the superior pitcher on the mound.
