ANALYSIS: Friday game. The Reds are utter garbage -- their past 14 losses also have been losses on the runline (i.e. meaning each by at least two runs for newbies). I see no reason to take Rockies RL here considering they are so cheap straight up (way too cheap in my opinion). Colorado was just swept four in Philly, but as we've established previously this is a much different team at Coors Field. Rox pitcher Antonio Senzatela is historically better in Denver and that has continued in 2022: 2.16 ERA in two starts.

ANALYSIS: The Coyotes might have the worst home-ice advantage in the NHL ... but it should be an interesting atmosphere in their finale Friday because it's also their last-ever game in Glendale, a suburb of Phoenix. The team is moving to a 5,100-seat new all-purpose arena at Arizona State in Tempe, another Phoenix suburb (but likely a largely different fan base), for at least the next three years as it hopes to get a full-bore NHL complex built in the city. I'd imagine the guys would like to leave the true Glendale fans as winners. Nashville is playing the second of a B2B and has zip reason to care and probably sits a ton of guys. Third-stringer Connor Ingram already has been confirmed in net. I'll gladly take -107 on the Arizona puckline -- the Yotes are off back-to-back shocking road wins over Minnesota and Dallas as it is.

ANALYSIS: Small advantage for the Mets in that they were off yesterday while the Phillies finished a home series vs. Colorado. Philadelphia is just 2-5 on the road. New York starts shockingly good Tylor Megill (3-0, 2.35 ERA) and the team has won all four of his starts. He threw 5.1 shutout innings in Philadelphia on April 12. Philly's Aaron Nola (1-2, 3.74) allowed three runs in 3.1 innings vs. the Mets on April 13. He also historically has been worse on the road.

ANALYSIS: Boston may not have banged-up DH JD Martinez, but AL batting leader Xander Bogaerts will be back in the lineup after getting Friday off. This price is quite small in my mind even though Baltimore is competitive at home. Rich Hill starts for the Sox and he's not totally trustworthy, but Tanner Houck, who couldn't pitch in this week's series in Toronto, essentially will piggyback so Hill will have a short leash and I trust Houck. The Birds are giving Kyle Bradish his first big-league start. He was the key piece back in the Dylan Bundy trade to the Angels in 2019 and is the team's No. 9 prospect.

ANALYSIS: Relatively cheap price on the Brewers at home ... presumably because the Cubs are starting their best pitcher in Kyle Hendricks so an upset is possible, but he historically is much worse on the road and his one away start this year was terrible. Chicago also used one of its most effective relievers (Scott Effross) in Thursday night's loss in Atlanta for two innings so he won't be available. Milwaukee's Adrian Houser had a 2.81 ERA at home last year and was very good in his lone start there in 2022.

ANALYSIS: Florida had little to play for Thursday and rested a bunch of key guys so we took Ottawa on the puckline at home ... and that didn't work out. But I'm going back to the same theory here at a nice price of +100. The Cats did clinch the Presidents' Trophy on Thursday so now they REALLY don't have anything to play for in the second of a back-to-back.

ANALYSIS: I'm going to pay the freight on the puckline at -214 and I'll tell you why: Minnesota needs just one point to earn second place in the Central Division and home-ice advantage in a first-round series playoff series against St. Louis. Thus, if the Wild get to OT, they can literally lie down on the ice. The Avalanche have absolutely nothing to play for as any shot at the Presidents' Trophy is gone. Two key Minnesota defensemen will return from injury in Jared Spurgeon and Matt Dumba.

ANALYSIS: I will be making a record amount of NHL picks today because of the unusual circumstances. I will either be rolling in the cash or selling a kidney after (my wife's). No reason for either team to care here and the Oilers are going to sit offensive superstars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl (and presumably others) as they should. Half the Canucks' good players are out. You can't not "try" as a goaltender. So we have to go Under at plus-money no matter who is in net.

ANALYSIS: Boston could still move up to third place in the Atlantic Division with a win and Tampa Bay loss at the Islanders, and I'd imagine the B's will try to do that as they would then face the Leafs in the playoffs instead of Carolina. Toronto is resting Auston Matthews, John Tavares and Mitch Marner -- that's a LOT of points -- and top goalie Jack Campbell. The B's have the edge in net with Jeremy Swayman over Erik Kallgren. We just have to hope Boston doesn't decide to rest guys later tonight.

ANALYSIS: Other than Game 2, Minnesota has essentially dominated this series but keeps collapsing in the fourth quarter when it loses. After a passive Game 3, Karl-Anthony Towns has been dominant the past two games. The Grizzlies will not have center Steven Adams tonight as he's in COVID protocols. That would be a big deal in the regular season, but he has fallen out of the rotation. Why even mention him then? What if Xavier Tillman/Brandon Clarke get into early foul trouble/injured? Plus, if Adams is in COVID protocols ... he's obviously been around the team. Not impossible another player lands in them today. Maybe I just badly want to see a Game 7 in this highly entertaining series.
