BET THIS EARLY BEFORE THE ODDS CHANGE
Game: (565) Los Angeles Clippers at (566) Dallas Mavericks
Date/Time: May 28 2021 9:35 PM EDT
Betting Line Provider: Consensus Line
Play Rating: 5 units
Play: Los Angeles Clippers -130

With the season on the line for the Clippers, this is a great spot to back them. While their performance in the first two games were lackluster, everyone is going to be locked in for this one.
The Mavericks are going to have a packed arena and that might turn into slight pressure for Dallas.
Rick Carlisle's squad has been shooting lights out so far in the series and at some point, they will cool off.

I expect a lot of late money on the Clippers so take it early.

SAN DIEGO @ HOUSTON | 05/28 | 8:10 PM GMT
SAN DIEGO +1.5

ANALYSIS: The Padres are moneyline dogs as we speak, but that may well change at any minute, so I'll jump on the runline now. San Diego is expected to get star third baseman Manny Machado back in the starting lineup after he missed the past few due to a minor injury -- he did pinch-hit Thursday. Plus, that loaded lineup adds the DH. It's Dinelson Lamet (1-0, 1.64) vs. lefty Framber Valdez (0-0, 0.00). The latter makes his season debut off injury. The Friars are 8-3 this year vs. southpaws and 8-1 in their past nine coming off a loss.

MINNESOTA @ VEGAS | 05/28 | 9:00 PM GMT
VEGAS -180
ANALYSIS: This will be the fourth Game 7 in Wild history. They are 3-0 in the previous three. However, Game 7s historically hugely favor the home team. and I think Vegas is too good to lose a third straight game for just the second time this year. Knights coach Pete DeBoer is 5-0 in Game 7s. The team that scores first in a Game 7 is 135-46 (.746) all-time.

NEW YORK @ ATLANTA | 05/28 | 7:00 PM GMT
ATLANTA -182

ANALYSIS: Man, the Knicks are not a good offensive team. Julius Randle is a good player, but he's simply not a No. 1 option on a good playoff team. He shot a combined 28.2 percent from the field in the first two games on rims/background he knows and with a rabid crowd behind him. What will he do in foreign territory tonight? Plus, how much will Derrick Rose have in the tank after playing such heavy minutes the first two games? Atlanta has won 11 straight at home. Make it 12.

L.A. CLIPPERS -2
ANALYSIS: The Mavs shot better than 50% from the field in both road victories to open this series. The Clippers should be able to make the necessary adjustments: Kawhi Leonard's previous teams have always played well after losing two straight in the postseason. I like the road team to improve to 3-0 SU in this Western Conference matchup.

L.A. CLIPPERS -2

ANALYSIS: Los Angeles has its back firmly against the wall in this series, but the good news for the Clippers is the place where they tend to struggle in games when they are falling apart is on the offensive end and that has not occurred here. With a little motivation, the Clippers can play well enough on the defensive end to get back into this series. Going back to the regular season, Los Angeles has lost four straight games but is still favored in this game. Road favorites on losing streaks of at least four games are 136-92-6 ATS.

ANALYSIS: I was burned twice in the Clippers on the first two games as they were stunned at home by Luka Doncic. Am I stupid for going back to Los Angeles? Simply don't see how a team that talented can lose three games in a row. While Dallas was 21-15 at home and away during the regular season, the Mavs were much worse ATS at home. Dallas is shooting a combined 50 percent overall in this series and 50 percent from deep. That offense has to regress a little. Clippers make this a series.

N.Y. ISLANDERS @ BOSTON | 05/29 | 8:00 PM EDT
BOSTON -160
ANALYSIS: Saturday series opener from Beantown. This is the whole rest vs. rust argument as Boston hasn't played since finishing off Washington in five last Sunday, while the Islanders knocked out Pittsburgh in six on Wednesday. The time off could help see the return of B's defenseman Jeremy Lauzon, who injured his hand in Game 1 vs. the Caps and hasn't played since. Boston won three of four at home vs. the Isles during the regular season, and I have to lean the veteran, Cup-winning goaltender in the Bruins' Tuukka Rask, who had a 1.86 GAA and .925 save percentage vs. New York this year.

MINNESOTA @ VEGAS | 05/28 | 9:00 PM GMT
MINNESOTA +160

ANALYSIS: This series has been so close that +160 in Game 7 almost feels like a gift. Anything can happen in Game 7 and while I do think the Knights are the better team, the value is definitely on the Wild here. The Knights were up 3-1 in this series and let the Wild get back into it by winning two games in a row. The Golden Knights have only scored two goals total in the two elimination games and the Wild have had shutdown defense with their backs against the wall. Take the value on the Wild here.

MIAMI @ BOSTON | 05/28 | 7:10 PM GMT
BOSTON -160
ANALYSIS: Cody Poteet is 2-0 with a 1.06 ERA this season but his most recent outings were against the banged up Mets and Phillies. The Red Sox lineup will be much tougher to navigate. Martin Perez has been pitching well and he has a 2.22 ERA in his last five starts. He has only allowed more than three runs in a start once this season and the Marlins are in the bottom half of the league in OPS against lefties. The Marlins get to add a DH tonight but I don’t think that’ll help them much. Look for the Boston bats to out hit the Marlins tonight.

KANSAS CITY @ MINNESOTA | 05/28 | 8:10 PM GMT
KANSAS CITY +150
ANALYSIS: The Twins have now won four straight games and seven of their last 10 games, but the Royals have won six of 10 themselves. Kris Bubic has pitched extremely well this season and he has allowed just two runs in his last 22.2 IP. Randy Dobnak re-entered the rotation in his last start and had his best outing of the season. However, in his outing before that he allowed two runs on two home runs in three innings against the Twins. Take the value in the Royals here.

TORONTO @ CLEVELAND | 05/28 | 7:10 PM GMT
TORONTO -157
ANALYSIS: Hyun Jin Ryu is 4-2 with a 2.53 ERA this season and he has pitched three straight quality starts. In May, he is 3-0 with a 2.45 ERA. Eli Morgan will be called up to make his Major League debut against the red hot bats of Toronto. The Indians have the 7th worst OPS in the league against lefties and they are missing a key lefty crusher in Franmil Reyes. Take the Blue Jays on the road.

ST. LOUIS @ ARIZONA | 05/28 | 9:40 PM GMT
ST. LOUIS +1.5
ANALYSIS: Arizona has the better starting pitcher Friday in southpaw Madison Bumgarner (4-4, 4.53) over the Cards' Johan Oviedo (0-2, 5.74), but St. Louis is better everywhere else and is 8-3 against lefties this season. Maybe Arizona wins a one-run game to snap its 11-game skid, but I'll take the Cardinals on the runline.

N.Y. YANKEES @ DETROIT | 05/28 | 7:10 PM GMT
N.Y. YANKEES -1.5
ANALYSIS: Detroit's Casey Mize (3-3, 3.42) is starting to show why he was the No. 1 overall pick in the draft a few years ago, and he may well hold a Yankees lineup that will welcome back Giancarlo Stanton from the injured list to 3-4 runs. However, I don't think the Tigers score at all against Cy Young favorite Gerrit Cole (6-2, 1.81). Cole's 92 strikeouts are the most by a Yankees pitcher through 10 starts of a season, and he pitched six shutout innings with 12Ks on April 30 vs. Detroit. Yanks on runline is the best value.

Date/Time: May 28 2021 8:35 PM EDT

Play Rating: 3 units
Play: Brooklyn Nets -7.5 (-110)

MY MLB PLAY WILL BE UP BY 10 AM ET FRIDAY (5/27)
Brooklyn Nets (-7.5) over Boston Celtics –
The Brooklyn Nets may be this years “super team” even with LeBron and AD playing together on the west coast. Brooklyn is 10-1-1 in the L12 as a F, and they are 6-0-1 in the L7 overall. The Nets are also 31-6 on the road in the playoffs when, and when they line is = 185 (s/2012) they are 31-6 and outscoring opponents by 15.3 points per game! The Celtics on the other hand are 1-6 in the L7 as a RD. Boston has only been a home dog by more then 4 points 5 times in the playoffs, they are 0-5 ATS and being outscored by 21.6 points per game in those 5 games!! When was that you may ask? You guessed it… Kyrie Irving, when he was lacing up with LeBron in Cleveland. Kyrie may not have LeBron anymore, but KD and Harden definitely isn’t something to complain about.

Game: (927) San Diego Padres at (928) Houston Astros
Date/Time: May 28 2021 8:10 PM EDT
Betting Line Provider: Consensus Line
Play Rating: 3 units
Play: Total Over 8.5 (+100) D Lamet (RHP), F Valdez (LHP) Must Start

3 unit Houston Astros and San Diego Padres OVER 8.5 (+100) (Lamet/Valdez) —
This Houston Astros offense looks just as strong as it has been in the recent years, they are #1 in batting average, runs per game, and hits in the MLB TY. Combining those stats with the fact that they are #3 in on base percentage, gives you the result of 5.2 runs per game TY! An offense like that can put up some seriously high totals, Houston is 29-18-2 OU TY (5.2 AF ; 4.08 AA), including 9-0 over when the oppenent scores 5+ runs in their previous game, 7-0 OU when they personally achieve 5+ runs in the previous game, 6-0 OU off a W, and 7-0 OU vs teams that are over .600 on the road! Although their bullpen hasn’t be an immaculate posting a 4.13 ERA TY and they are throwing Valdez for the 1st time TY. This may not be the ideal team to go against for your first start of the year, especially as a LHP, SD is averaging 4.9 runs per game vs. LHP (on .243 BA), 6.9 runs in the L7 games (6-1 OU), and 5.29 runs per game in the L14 on the R. In that 14 game stretch, the Padres are 10-4 OU (5.29 AF ; 3.43 AA) averaging 8.72 total runs in those 14. San Diego is also 8-0 OU in the L8 on the R vs. opponents over .500, and very similarly to HOU, San Diego is 6-0 OU in the L6 games when their opponent scored 5+ runs in their previous game. With Lamet on the mound, San Diego’s offense has put up 3.67 runs of support, although they have been even hotter in that in the recent games, but with an ERA of 4.50 on the R for Lamet, Houston should definitely be able to put up some runs.
