My model says Phoenix covers 65 percent of the time, so you're getting strong value at this number.

ANALYSIS: The Nuggets managed to advance past the first round despite not having Jamal Murray (knee). It helped that they were playing a Trail Blazers squad that was among the worst defensive teams in the league. The same can’t be said for the Suns, who also have their own injury issues with Chris Paul (shoulder). The good news is that Paul has had some added time off for rest and Devin Booker is locked in offensively, so look for the Suns to take care of business at home, and cover along the way.

While Brooklyn survived that one without him, things are bound to be much different in Game 2. Kyrie Irving could be a bit gassed after playing a season-high (non-OT game) 45 minutes. The Bucks dominated the paint in game 1 of this series but were unable to get anything to fall from outside the arc. These type of “off nights” are unfortunate and also unlikely to continue into game 2. Brooklyn got a lot of help from their “role players” in game 1, also something that’s likely to regress to the mean. The loss of James Harden is huge for the Nets, a loss that’s going to have a huge impact as this series progresses. The Bucks are 16-4-1 ATS in their last 21 trips to Brooklyn. We’ve already seen significant money come in on Milwaukee and for good reason. Expect them to bounce back and win this game outright. Take the Bucks.
