ANALYSIS: I am frankly stunned that Utah lost at home against a Luka Doncic-less team in Game 3. The Jazz used to have one of the best home-court advantages in the NBA. That team doesn't look like it has any heart left. That said ... I am going back to them. Utah did play a lot better in the second half, and Dallas shot ridiculous from three-point range. I also tend to think the Mavs DON'T play Doncic now and give him a few more days off. They have stolen back home-court advantage so that makes all the sense in the world. If Utah loses again, I'm going to Salt Lake City and going on a bender and TP'ing that whole town. Oh wait, you can't go on a bender in SLC.

ANALYSIS: Toronto absolutely should have won Game 3 but missed a few crucial free throws and Joel Embiid made an incredible shot. The 76ers had been 1-21 in their playoff history when trailing by at least 10 points in a road playoff game entering the second quarter as they did Wednesday. It sounds as if stellar rookie Scottie Barnes will make it back for Saturday for Toronto, and it's an easy letdown spot for Philly as it knows the series is over and can just end it at home in Game 5. Matisse Thybulle remains out Saturday because he's not vaccinated.

That last outing was on the road and he mentioned a grip issue. I'll believe him. Also: Milwaukee can't hit. What the heck happened to Christian Yelich?!

It's fine, long season. Maybe no team has been hit harder by injuries. This seems common in Chicago sports, but don't get me started. We know Luis Robert won't play Saturday and knowing Tony LaRussa, he will bat his wife or Leury Garcia third. Oh, and Vince Velazquez is pitching. The Pale Hose will be fine eventually. They are just bad right now.

So even though both clubs have zip to play for, Les Habs visit is important to Sens fans. And Ottawa didn't play No. 1 netminder Anton Forsberg in Friday's win over Columbus (we won on PL) so he should be in there. Again, at this point of the season, money is to be made. Which side is motivated? I promise the Sens want to beat Montreal just because of the sweater.

ANALYSIS: The Phillies bats have been extremely quiet to start the season and it was evident again last night. The reason they were able to comeback was because both Devin Williams and Josh Hader were unavailable for the Brewers after pitching two of the last three days. However, they are both available today while the circumstances are completely flipped. The Phillies used both Jose Alvarado and Corey Knebel two of the last three nights so they will only have Jeurys Familia and Brad Hand at the back end. It is always possible Zach Wheeler puts it all together at home and pitches deep into the game. However, he only pitched 4.2 innings in his first start then gave up 7 ER in his second start. Adrian Houser has been solid to start the season, take the value in the Brewers.

Nestor Cortes Jr. is pitching for the Yankees and he has pitched very well to start the season not allowing a run yet. However, Aroldis Chapman will be unavailable for the Yankees today as well as Michael King. The Guardians are better against righties but they are still ranked 10th in the league in wOBA against lefties. I like the value in the Guardians on the road today.

ANALYSIS: The Dodgers are actually the best team in the league in wOBA against righties and they get righty Yu Darvish today. Darvish actually pitched very well against the Dodgers last season in all but one of his starts. He also pitched well to start this season in all but one of his starts. Tyler Anderson pitched well to start this season and the Padres struggled against the lefty last night. The Dodgers have won 9 straight games between these teams and they have their whole bullpen available. The Dodgers bullpen is ranked 4th in the league while the Padres bullpen is ranked 24th. Unless Darvish pitches 7, 1 run innings, the Padres shouldn’t be able to keep this close. I like the cheap price on the Dodgers.

ANALYSIS: The Rangers have the fifth worst wOBA in the league against righties and they get a tough one today in Frankie Montas. Montas struggled in his opening start, but he settled down for two quality starts after that. Somehow, he only faced the Rangers once last season and he was hit hard, but that was in Texas. The Athletics hit lefties better as they are ranked 17th in the league in wOBA against lefties, and they get Martin Perez today. He has struggled in his first two starts and most importantly, struggled to get deep in the game. The Athletics have the 18th ranked bullpen in the league, but the Rangers are much worse with the 2nd worst ranked bullpen in the league. I like the As at home.

ANALYSIS: Dylan Bundy has pitched very well to start the season against two good lineups in the Mariners and Red Sox. I don’t think this will continue for a season but I do think he’ll have success against a beat up White Sox team. Byron Buxton should be back in the lineup after getting yesterday off while the White Sox will still be without Luis Robert among others. The Twins are ranked just 23rd in the league in wOBA against righties right now but the White Sox are even worse, ranked second worst in the league in wOBA against righties. The thing that worries me is the Twins bullpen. They are 3rd worst in the league and Emilio Pagan will be unavailable. However, Kendall Graveman should also be unavailable, and the White Sox should have to cover many more innings than the Twins.
