TORONTO @ MILWAUKEE | 06/25 | 4:10 PM EDT
MILWAUKEE -160
ANALYSIS: Corbin Burnes has been better lately, and I think he should have success against the Blue Jays. He has been getting into trouble with walks lately, so I won’t be worried unless I see walks early. The good thing is Yusei Kikuchi struggles much more with walks. He has multiple walks in 6 of his last 8 games and he hasn’t pitched more than five innings in any of his last six games. The Blue Jays were able to save their top relievers in the blowout but so did the Brewers. I like the home team behind their ace.

BOSTON @ CLEVELAND | 06/25 | 6:10 PM EDT
CLEVELAND -150
ANALYSIS: Yea… no chance I was sleeping tonight without getting my thoughts out for tomorrow. As I write this home teams are 2-12 on the night, one of the weirdest trends I have seen all season. To be honest, I don’t completely know why this happened, but my best guess would be that a lot of home teams were traveling Thursday night before home games. That should even out on Saturday with these teams acclimating back to their home time zone. The Guardians had Nick Pivetta on the ropes early but couldn’t get the big hit. They should have more success against Josh Winckowski. He has pitched well so far this season, but he has also only made three appearances. Shane Bieber on the other hand is looking more like his old self every start. The Guardians bullpen let them down Thursday night but they have been very good this season, so I expect them to bounce back. The Guardians have been hot lately, I expect them to bounce back behind their ace.

HOUSTON @ N.Y. YANKEES | 06/25 | 1:05 PM EDT
N.Y. YANKEES -160
ANALYSIS: Gerrit Cole going against his old team at home after almost pitching a no hitter? Ill take it. Christian Javier has been decent for the Astros, but he is just 1-1 with a 4.63 ERA on the road this season. Gerrit Cole has been very good lately and I think he will get after it against his former team. Both teams have good bullpens, but the Yankees have the starting pitching advantage so they should be able to get the lead for their top ranked bullpen for the first time in this series. I like the Yankees at home where they are 30-8, and they're behind their ace.

L.A. DODGERS @ ATLANTA | 06/25 | 7:15 PM EDT
ATLANTA -120
ANALYSIS: The Braves just weren’t able to mount anything in Game 1 of this series, very unlike them after their past few weeks. However, the Braves have their ace in Max Fried going Saturday. He pitched seven scoreless against the Dodgers earlier this season and if you’re going to beat the Dodgers, you need a lefty. Mitchell White is starting for the Dodgers, and he has been decent, but he has also only made four starts this season. He also allowed a run in just 2 IP against the Braves earlier this season. The Braves also have the much better bullpen, I like the Braves at home. Remember, I always list my pitchers, so if this line changes for that reason tomorrow I will reevaluate. But with this pitching matchup and line, I like the Braves.

N.Y. METS @ MIAMI | 06/25 | 4:10 PM EDT
MIAMI 130
ANALYSIS: The Mets are getting too much respect. The Marlins beat Mets starter Chris Bassitt just last week, which was Bassitt's third loss in his last four starts. My model says Miami wins almost 60 percent of simulations, so you're getting strong value at this number.

L.A. DODGERS @ ATLANTA | 06/25 | 7:15 PM EDT
ATLANTA -150
ANALYSIS: The Dodgers took Friday night's game with Freddie Freeman returning to Atlanta, but I like the Braves to bounce back on Saturday. Lefty Max Fried takes the ball for the Braves and while it's not nearly as extreme as it used to be, the Dodgers still hit lefties worse than righties. Fried is having an excellent season and dominated the Dodgers back in April. The back-end trio of Will Smith, A.J. Minter and Kenley Jansen wasn't used Friday, either, so the Braves have a reliable pitching framework. The Dodgers are bringing up Mitch White to take the start in front of a thin bullpen.

CINCINNATI @ SAN FRANCISCO | 06/25 | 7:15 PM EDT
SAN FRANCISCO -1.5
ANALYSIS: The Reds are a bad team. Terrible, in fact. They had lost seven in a row before Friday night's win, so they'll get back on their losing track here and it'll be my multiple runs. We'll take the Giants on the run line at -1.5 (-113). Reds starter Mike Minor has been hit relatively hard all four starts and the Giants are a more powerful offense than he's seen. Giants starter Logan Webb has only given up one run in his last two starts (14 IP). It's a mismatch that feels like a blowout.

HOUSTON @ N.Y. YANKEES | 06/25 | 1:05 PM EDT
N.Y. YANKEES -175
ANALYSIS: Yankees starter Gerrit Cole is about to go on a run that will end up with him winning the AL Cy Young. Well, he's already started it. He's been excellent in his last two starts and took a no-hitter into the eighth against the Rays last time while striking out 12. The Astros lineup is much tougher, of course, but he dominated them twice last year, including a shutout in Houston. The Yankees very rarely lose two straight games and after only scoring once on Friday, they are due to put some crooked numbers on the board.

CHI. CUBS @ ST. LOUIS | 06/25 | 2:15 PM EDT
ST. LOUIS -185
ANALYSIS: OK, let's try this again. Kyle Hendricks became Bob Gibson for one night and crushed us yesterday, but I will literally go see "Sack Lunch" (Seinfeld fans?) by myself wearing a bikini top if the Cubs win again here. Adrian Sampson/Alec Mills vs. Miles Mikolas? Come on. Not even going to bore you with stats. If this were some blah series I'd be worried but the Cardinals just won't allow this again. I do believe in intangibles sometimes.

HOUSTON @ N.Y. YANKEES | 06/25 | 1:05 PM EDT
N.Y. YANKEES -170
ANALYSIS: I guess I'm a "favorites" guy at least on the moneyline in baseball so yesterday was brutal. Almost nothing went according to plan. Betting against Houston at this price is dangerous and, yes, I've said not gonna bet Gerrit Cole .... not gonna bet Gerrit Cole, but he has been The Dude Abides in his past two starts and surely fired up to face his old team. I'll have a sarsaparilla.
