ANALYSIS: My model says the Twins win in almost 70 percent of the simulations, so you're getting excellent value at this number. Minnesota teed off on Tigers pitching in the series opener, as seven of its 14 hits in the 15-6 rout went for extra bases. Twins DH Nelson Cruz went 3-for-6 with a double, two homers, five RBIs and three runs in his first start of the year. Minnesota has recorded 25 runs and 29 hits while winning three straight. Meanwhile, Detroit has yielded 24 runs and 24 hits in back-to-back losses. Tigers RHP Casey Mize posted an 8.49 ERA in three starts against Minnesota as a rookie last year. Take the Twins.

ANALYSIS: This is a bad spot for the Raptors, who just played Monday and will have to take the floor Tuesday without Kyle Lowry (foot) and Fred VanVleet (hip). They have already struggled in the second game of back-to-back sets this season, posting just a 3-7 record ATS in such situations. The Lakers have plenty of injury issues of their own, but with them having added rest, I’ll take the points.

San Jose is pretty healthy and starts Martin Jones, who has a 4-0-0 record, 1.71 GAA and .942 save percentage in his last four starts. The Ducks are 1-6 in the past seven meetings.

ANALYSIS: The best goaltender in the NHL this season, albeit in limited action, has been Carolina's Petr Mrazek. On Sunday in his first start since Jan. 30 due to injury, Mrazek blanked the Stars to lower his GAA this season to a microscopic 0.74 in five games. Yes, Florida enters on a six-game winning streak, but those were all against lesser teams than Carolina and four were at home. The Cats are 2-8 in their past 10 vs. the Hurricanes.
