EDMONTON @ COLORADO | 05/31 | 8:00 PM EDT
EDMONTON +1.5
ANALYSIS: I truly can't wait for this series. Very excited as a former pond hockey player. I think Wendy was our goaltender. She was awesome. Pretty sure I was in pink Katarina Witt skates. Not by choice, believe me. So, yeah, fights. Do I think the Avs win Game 1? Probably, but getting Edmonton cheaper than an Avalanche outright win just has to be played. I am generally an Under person but this feels like a shootout 5-4 type series. Gonna wait and see Game 1.

MILWAUKEE @ CHI. CUBS | 05/31 | 8:05 PM EDT
MILWAUKEE -132
ANALYSIS: Entering the nightcap of Monday's doubleheader, the Brewers had won 19 of the previous 25 meetings with Chicago. And the Cubs stood 7-16 at home. Milwaukee starter Eric Lauer faced the Cubs on May 1, a 9-1 Brewers' victory, and fanned 11 in seven innings. Justin Steele has been solid in two outings versus Milwaukee, but I'll pay the reasonable price and look for the first-place Brewers to continue their dominance of NL Central foes.

WASHINGTON @ N.Y. METS | 05/31 | 7:10 PM EDT
N.Y. METS -1.5
ANALYSIS: The Mets have scored at least eight runs in five of their last seven games. Now they get to face Patrick Corbin who currently has a 6.86 road ERA and a 7.16 ERA during night games. The Mets offense should continue to ride this hot streak against an easy opponent. Mets starter Trevor Williams will likely pitch less than four innings in this game. The Mets bullpen is very strong and should hold the Nationals to few runs. Laying the extra run at +120.

CHI. WHITE SOX @ TORONTO | 05/31 | 7:07 PM EDT
TORONTO -170
ANALYSIS: The Blue Jays are on fire and they got a much needed off day yesterday to reset their bullpen. The White Sox are still struggling, and they seriously struggle against righties. Well, Kevin Gausman is one of the best righties in the league. Tim Anderson was also injured in their last game and Luis Robert could still be out despite traveling to Toronto. I think this line will shoot up to -200 when the public sees no Tim Anderson, so I like this value now.
MINNESOTA @ DETROIT | 05/31 | 1:10 PM EDT
DETROIT 125
ANALYSIS: The Tigers get Miguel Cabrera back in the lineup today for Game 1 and I think they will win at least one of these doubleheader games at home. They are plus money in both games, so we play the first game, if we win we stay off the second game. If we lose, we play the second game to hope to come out with a profit. Carlos Correa is on the COVID IL so he will miss both games today, and I have to imagine Byron Buxton won’t play both games. Devin Smeltzer and Rony Garcia have both pitched well, I like the Tigers at plus money.
