The Angels are hot, winners of their last 5 ballgames. The Angels just took it to the Athletics, winning 2 of 3 just a few days ago and should be able to get it done again.

On face value we see a 1-4 Phoenix team going up against a 4-1 Los Angeles team. Phoenix is 0-5 against the spread and LA is 3-1-1. But I actually like the Phoenix Mercury in this game tonight. Phoenix has put up substantially more points than Los Angeles this year. Granted, they are going to need to play a little better defense and hit the boards more than they have to this point. But I think they will be able to do that on their home floor tonight. We are getting a lot of points here, and I think Phoenix can keep it within this number.

I like the Atlanta Dream today at home. I think they got a shot at getting their first win of the year here today. They have 3 common opponents we can look at for todays game. They both have played Los Angeles, Minnesota, and Connecticut. In those games I thought that the Atlanta Dream and the Chicago Sky looked fairly even. The Atlanta Dream getting points at home against a Chicago team that looks fairly even looks like a good deal to me. I don't see a lot disparity between these two basketball teams
