Looking at Showalter's run since taking over the O's the success comes from pitching rather than the offense..a perfect example is tonights starter..While his 1.27 ERA over his past 3 starts is impressive..looking back on his previous 10..70 IP...58 hits allowed 18 earned..while allowing 6 of those in one game at Yankee Stadium...
Everyone is aware of Price and his accomplishments...Couple the above with the O's weak offense when facing LHP 3.5 RPG..and their .234 average in domes..a case can be made for a 5 inning under... 5 innings because only Atlanta scores more from the 7th on than Tampa..keeping an eye on this one..more later
