Friday
Parra just missed the Beware list (Beware of these in the second half.... )
100 hits..38 walks in 81 IP....Houston hitting well above their season average last 7 (.270)...also worth noting..Astro's 17 games under .500 on the year but 25-20 within their division....A nice price on the Astro's..

Saturday

Stats can be misleading...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Suppan is another on the beware list..over 1.8 WHIP...allowing 99 hits in 67 innings.... Mccutchens ERA is near equal to our national debt...along with a 1.7 WHIP...yet these two combine for a 4-8 o/u with Suppan at 1-6 while Mccutchen has gone 0-2 in his last 2 starts with an ERA nearly half of his season average...Will look for better but keeping an eye on this 9.5 total..

Chime in let's cash a couple...

Toronto Sweep?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At +170, well worth a look....Hughes 7-2 at home but a 5+ ERA doesn't bode well for the Yankees..Interesting note...Hughes has allowed 16 HR's...15 of those at home!!! going 9-2 o/u....with the Yankee's lacking their normal punch (40 points below their season average last 7) would not be shocked to see a Toronto win...

Friday

Extremely tough backing a Detroit club that has fallen on it's face post All Star until one considers the Angels have played just as poorly and if there is a silver lining it has to be 11 of Detroit's loses in their past 14 games has been versus Toronto, Tampa, Boston and the Chisox... Verlander much better at home versus Weaver traveling...I'll side with Tigers at a good price..

Detroit -118
