Fell flat on my face last out going against the Jays...but their track record versus LHP is still a huge problem.....Home loving Gonzalez 50 hits in 70 IP..and more importantly allowed only 4 HR's...A key to success when facing the free swinging Jays...

Looked hard at the total but not a lot of trust in the Cubs Pen..
In previous threads we have discussed Lato's to no end..
Considering the Pads have allowed 3 or less in 10 of 13 and 2 or less in 8 of those..I would expect the same this afternoon..Zambrano has pitched well in his return..but has not pitched out of the 6th inning... Pads hitting over their season average past 7 while the Cubs aren't....Like the 5 inning under total and possibly the RL...haven't placed a wager but will keep an eye on this one as I look for better

We highlighted Parra in our Beware list in mid July.. and he hasn't disappointed..failing to collect a win in his past 7 starts...Pad's need this one badly. -123 is more than fair...also if one is inclined to play either of these two over..Day games would be your best bet... Pad's are 54-59 o/u for the year but 8-15 during the day while the Brewers have cashed the over in days games 27 of 42...
will keep this one in mind as I look for better..

A few circles but waiting on a Card's/Pitt total...
With Pitt scoring less than 2 RPG last 8 one would expect an 8 to 8.5.... On the surface making it a tough over play..However during that 8 game span Pitt has faced a tough Florida staff along with Wainwright... a rejuvenated Happ....Santana and Myers...A group that shuts down many offenses... Westbrook does not fall in to the above category..and while McCutchen has worked well out of the pen of late he hasn't shown the ability to shut down a Cards offense that is scoring (5.4) and hitting above season average last 7.....
Waiting for the opening number on this one....

Both teams are struggling coming into this series, Cards winning only 3 of 11 while Atlanta has dropped 5 of 7. One has to consider Wainwrights awesome stats when looking at this game but the fact remains the Cards have dropped 9 of his 15 road starts...Atlanta is not only the best home team in MLB (49-19) they are the highest scoring team from the 7th inning on...bringing into play the lesser pen of the visitors...I'll take the plus $$'s with the Braves.. (after a bit of shopping)
