Toronto/Minny

As good as Halladay has been you would have to go back 10 starts to find a game going under this total... With both Pens failing to equal past numbers..esp Minny 21st in MLB with a 5.52 ERA..along with a now questionable Liriano facing the top offense (.313 BA) I'll side with the over in this one...
🙂

The under is still being juiced so I may find better as I shop... but I won't pass on the 7.5

Saturday

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

While the Astro's have failed to score more than 3 runs in 7 of 10 the Reds haven't fared much better...A league low 6.9 hits per game producing a an extremely weak 4.5 rpg... to give you an idea of a weak 4.5 let's look at...(as of Thursday)
Boston 4.1 rpg on 8.4 hits
Minny 3.6 on 8.2
KC 3.4 on 7

Cinci does benefit from 5 walks per game but Wandy's 2.4 average over his past 20+ starts should put even more pressure on the Reds offense or I should say lack of...

Couple the above with the fast starting Harrang's success at Minute Maid
14 runs in 46 IP.. and Wandy's less than 3 ERA the past 2 season at home...runs should be at a premium...

Reds/Astros u8

Sunday

210 BAA.....2.20 ERA over the past 44 innings...Key numbers for an ever improving Davies.... Huge ERA for Padilla due mostly to the pounding by Baltimore but his ERA at Rangers Park over the past 3 season is a bit over 4....Have an interest in the total and KC...seeing an opener of +110 up to +115/120....will be watching both

Hi Nix....good to see you and ricker.... The previous site was great one for a few years.. a lot less drama than most..a shame
with all the offshore happenings and what it's doing to the forums. Not sure how I ran across this one but I do post occasionally and read their articles... I assume RJ is still up and running..haven't been back there since I sold out....

Tuesday

Nice pitching match up in San Francisco this evening.. Peavy seems to have regained his 2007 form when going 3-0 with an ERA under 2 versus the Giants.... Cain meanwhile has not won in his past 5 versus the Pads..with the Giants scoring 2 or less in 6 of past 7..coupled with a surprising San Diego offense... 5.7 rpg along with a .300 BA last 7 I'll side with the Pads in this one..

San Diego -119 (BJ)

A few notes as I look through the rotation....

Rays 3.5 rpg verus LHP (6 games)
A's .162 BA in day games.....1.99 last 7
Will keep an eye on this total

Reds 7 of 12 3 or less
9 of those 4 or less

Braves have scored 3 or less in 6 of 7
2 or less in 5 of those
