Chicago White Sox at Toronto Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays will be feeling pretty confident about their chances when they open this three-game series north of the border vs visiting White Sox. Toronto finding a consistent stroke at the plate over the weekend smacking 32 hits, 6 long-ball platting 20 runs in a series win over Oakland have Marcus Stroman charged with keeping White Sox in check.
Stroman has opened the campaign 3-0 over four starts (3-1 TSR) and is now 8-0 with a 9-2 Team Start Record in eight regular, three post season starts since returning from an ACL tear suffered in spring training last year.
The fact Stroman has shown that he can keep club momentum going is yet another nod towards Blue Jays, since the team has compiled an impressive 6-1 record recently with Stroman following a team win the previous effort and are a solid 11-4 following a win with the hurler since he joined the rotation back in 2014. Additionally, Blue Jays have been equally dominant on home field with Stroman. In eighteen career home starts the team is 13-5.
