MLB Blue Jays vs. White Sox Picks & Predictions for Sunday, July 8
By ATSSportsline.com

CHICAGO, IL (ATS Consultants) - This is the final game of a three-game series right before the All-Star break.

The White Sox, who have won 5 straight, are going for the sweep in this series after shutting the Blue Jays out on Saturday. Brett Cecil the mound for the Jays against Dylan Axelrod for the White Sox. The finale starts on Sunday at 2:05pmET from U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago.

Odds: The oddsmakers have installed the White Sox as a -135 favorite over the Blue Jays. The total is 11 in most books. The Blue Jays come in with a 42-44 overall record and are 42-39 Over, while the White Sox are 48-37 overall and 38-45 Under.

Line Movement: The Blue Jays opened as a -135 favorite and remained there in most books. The total started at 11 and remained there in most books.

PUBLIC BETTING: Of the wagers currently placed on tonight’s game, 72% of public bettors favor the White Sox. These numbers are subject to change, however, so make sure you click on the “Public Betting” link available in this paragraph to get the most up-to-date information.

MLB FREE PICK: Take the under. According to latest MLB trends, Toronto is 2-6 Under in Cecil's last 8 starts as a road underdog, is 4-10 Under in Cecil's last 14 starts with 4 days of rest and is 3-7 Under in Cecil's last 10 starts on grass. White Sox are 2-6 Under last 8 games as a home favorite and 1-4-1 Under in Axelrod's last 6 starts overall. The White Sox are playing great baseball lately but they do struggle against lefties, hitting just .234 as a team. Lefty Brett Cecil pitched decently in his last start, giving up three runs in six innings in his last start against the Royals. Axelrod has faced two very good hitting teams in his last two starts in Texas and the Yankees and has come away with two wins for his team. Now Axelrod just pitched Wednesday so he'll probably go about 3 or 4 innings. That puts more pressure on the White Sox bullpen, which is well-rested because Gavin Floyd gave them 7 2/3 innings on Saturday. The total is too high at 11.

SUNDAY MLB FREE PICK: BLUE JAYS/WHITE SOX UNDER 11
