MLB FREE PICK:
Take Washington. According to latest MLB trends, Arizona is 0-4 last 4 as a road dog, 0 5 in Miley's last five starts during game 2 of a series and 3-7 last 10 as a road dog of +110 to +150. Washington is 23-8 last 31 Wednesday games, 23-8 in Zimmerman's last 31 home starts and 13-5 in Zimmermann's last 18 starts when their opponent allows 5 runs or more in their previous game.

The Nationals need to put together a winning streak to get back in the wild card race in the National League. They have their best pitcher on the mound in Jordan Zimmermann (10-3, 2.26 ERA), who has shut out teams in three of his last four starts. Wade Miley (4-6, 4.70 ERA) has been struggling and seeks his second win since May 8. He is 1-5 with a 6.40 ERA in his last eight starts. He allowed four runs in 4 1/3 innings in his last start against Washington in 2012. Zimmermann has walked just 15 hitters in 107 2/3 innings. He has allowed just six runs in his three starts against Arizona lifetime but hasn't pitched against them this year. Washington is 5-1 last six against Arizona.
