LINE MOVEMENT: The Rockies opened as -137 money line favorites but their odds have dropped to -122, while the Dodgers' odds have gone from +126 down to +113.

Chris Capuano (2-5, 4.72 ERA) had pitched very well in his last two previous starts, giving up no runs in two starts against San Diego and the New York Yankees before struggling in his last start against Philadelphia. He allowed 13 runs in four starts against Colorado last year, giving up 30 hits in 25 1/3 innings.The Dodgers have really hit Jhoulys Chacin (7-3, 3.59 ERA), especially in the last three games. Chacin has allowed 16 runs in his last three games against the Dodgers. On June 1, he was pounded for five runs at home in six innings, although the Rockies won, 7-6. Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig is more than just a fluke or a sensation. The Cuban outfielder is hitting .443 with 8 home runs and 17 RBI in 106 at bats for the Dodgers. He's difficult to pitch to because he has very long arms and has great plate coverage. The Dodgers' play has also improved tremendously with Puig in the lineup. Another key player in the lineup is CF Matt Kemp, who is hitting just .248 but does have nine steals. When you throw in Puig, Kemp coming back from injury and Hanley Ramirez (.388, 6, 18) returning from the disabled list, you have a team that can challenge for a playoff spot. It also helps that they can get on base for 1B Adrian Gonzalez (.298, 11, 50). This time, the Dodgers get the best of Chacin and win the game.
