By ATSSportsline.com

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (ATS Consultants) - Following a rough road trip the Giants got back on track last night with a victory against the Nationals. Game 2 of the series is tonight at 10:15PM ET and it could be a low-scoring contest.

ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Giants are -111 money line favorites over the Nationals, who are +103 on the ML. The total, meanwhile, is currently sitting at 6.5 runs with Stephen Strasburg and Matt Cain on the hill.

LINE MOVEMENT: The Nationals opened as +100 money line favorites but their odds have climbed to +103, while the Giants' odds have gone from -108 up to -111. Washington is 23-22 on the year and 11-13 on the road, while San Francisco is 25-20 on the year and 16-7 at home.

PUBLIC BETTING: Of the current wagers placed on tonight’s game, 53% of the betting public currently favors Washington. This information is subject to change, however, so make sure you click on the link provided for the most updated numbers.

MLB FREE PICK: Take the under. According to latest MLB trends, Washington 0-5-1 Under last 6 after allowing 5 runs or more in their previous game and 2-6-1 last 9 as a dog. San Francisco is 4-10 Under in Cain's last 14 starts vs. NL East.

The Nationals (23-22, 11-13 road, 23-19 O/U) have lost three straight, while San Francisco (25-20, 16-7 home, 26-17 O/U) has won four straight at home. Washington just isn't hitting right now as they've lost three straight and were shut out on Monday despite the Giants losing starter Ryan Vogelsong in the fifth inning due to fractured right hand. Stephen Strasburg is just 2-5 this year but has a 2.83 ERA. He went eight innings on Thursday allowing just two runs in a 6-2 victory over San Diego. Matt Cain did struggle in his last start, but it was in Colorado, as the Giants won 8-6. He is 5-4 with a 3.17 ERA against Washington in his career. Washington is hitting just .223 as a team and averaging just 3.51 runs per game. Washington visits AT&T Park in San Francisco to take on the Giants at 10:15pmET on Tuesday.

MLB FREE PICK: NATIONALS/GIANTS UNDER 6.5
