The Angels (15-24, 8-10 home, 25-14 O/U) snapped a two-game slide after a strong pitching performance from Jason Vargas. Wade Davis has struggled some lately after getting off to a great start, going 2-0 with a 2.25 ERA in his first three games. He has pitched well in his career against the Angels, striking out 13 and allowing just four earned runs over two starts while he was with the Rays (2.93 ERA). The Angels throw out a spot-starter in Barry Enright, who allowed five runs over 3 1/3 innings and received a non-decision as the Angels beat the White Sox, 7-5 on Friday. He's basically a fill-in starter for Tommy Hanson, who is on the restricted list as he deal with a personal matter. Enright has never faced Kansas City in his four -year career, but has allowed home runs to Miguel Tejada and Alcides Escobar. The Royals visit Angel Stadium of Anaheim for Game 3 of their series on Wednesday night at 10:05pmET to face the Los Angeles Angels.
