MLB World Series Game 4: Giants vs. Rangers Picks

The Texas Rangers look to even up the World Series on Sunday night when they host the San Francisco Giants for Game 4.
The Rangers got on the board in the series by winning Game 3, 4-2. Colby Lewis threw 7.2 innings of five-hit and two-run ball to give the Rangers the boost they needed. Mitch Moreland added a three-run home run in the second inning.
On Sunday, Madison Bumgarner takes the mound for the Giants while Tommy Hunter it pitching for the Rangers. Bumgarner is 7-6 with a 3.00 ERA this season while Hunter is 13-4 with a 3.73 ERA.
Here are some trends to consider and my pick for Game 4 of the World Series:
San Francisco Giants vs. Texas Rangers, 6:55PM ET
The Giants are still 13-3 in their last 16 games with Texas and are 8-2 in Bumgarner’s last 10 starts on the road while the Rangers are 1-7 in their last eight interleague games vs. a team with a winning record and 2-5 in their last seven Sunday games.
The Giants have still had the more consistent hitting in this series and showed they can make a comeback effort when falling behind. The pitching matchup is pretty even, the Giants just need to find a way to get ahead early and not let Texas tap into their setup men and closer.
