Black Magic Sports

1 Unit on Phoenix Suns -4.5

The Phoenix Suns will put Golden State out of their misery tonight with a blowout home win. The Warriors have to win their final two games and have Denver lose at home to Memphis to sneak into the playoffs. Neither scenario is going to happen, especially with the Warriors’ struggles at Phoenix. The Suns are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home meetings with the Warriors. The home team has won 6 straight and 8 of the last 9 in this series. Phoenix is 18-6 ATS off an upset loss as a road favorite over the last 3 seasons. The Suns are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 home games. Cash in with Phoenix as the favorite.

1* on LA Angels -109
(List Santana and Jennings)

We have to take the Angles’ potent lineup against the shaky Jason Jennings tonight. The Rangers will send Jennings (0-2, 7.45 ERA) to the mound on Monday. The righthander will be searching for his first American League win after signing with the club in the offseason. Jennings has yielded four runs in each of his two starts, while the Texas offense has managed just one run in each of his starts. Jennings’ struggles have caused him to pitch with 3 different teams in the last 3 years. The Rockies and Astros didn’t want him, and Texas will soon find out that they shouldn’t have signed Jennings to a deal either. Jennings is 3-17 (-15.8 Units) against the money line in all games over the last 2 seasons. Jennings is 0-8 (-9.5 Units) against the money line against division opponents over the last 2 seasons. Take the Angels here.

3* on A’s/White Sox OVER 9
(Listing Buehrle and Smith)

U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago is one of the most hitter friendly ball parks in all of baseball. The walls are short and most of the time the wind is blowing out. The Sox scored 18 runs combined in their last 2 home games against the Detroit Tigers over the weekend. They are swinging the bats really well and the same can be said for Oakland. Mark Buehrle is off to a slow start for Chicago with an 8.31 ERA to this point. He has struggled against the A’s in his career with a 3-9 lifetime record. Rookie Greg Smith makes his second start of the season for the A’s tonight. He allowed 5 walks in his first start, proving that command will be an issue against these patient White Sox hitters. The White Sox are 82-49 OVER (+28.3 Units) in home games vs. teams whose hitters draw 4 walks or more/game since 1997. The White Sox are scoring 6.8 runs per game against lefty starters. The A’s are scoring 5.6 runs per game on the road this season. Bet the OVER 9 runs.

Locksmith Sports

1 Unit on Sacramento Kings +4.5

With the Spurs blowing their chance at the top seed in the West last night, they now officially have nothing to play for in the regular season so their attention is now turned to getting healthy and fresh for the playoffs. The biggest player the Spurs must get healthy is Manu Ginobli who is expected to sit out again tonight. Sac has closed out the season strong, playing with a great deal of pride. They have won 6 of 8 SU and 7 of 8 ATS coming into this one. The Spurs are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 road games, 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games following an ATS loss, and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games as a favorite of 0.5-4.5. The Kings are 8-0 ATS in their last 8 games as an underdog of 0.5-4.5 and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest. Take the Kings.
