Tonight look for the streaking Blue Jays to hand the sliding White Sox another setback, and complete the 4-game series sweep.

Toronto has won their last 4, while Chicago is mired in a 5 game slide.

Dustin McGowan is coming off a nice 7 inning, 1 run, no decison at Boston, and he did win his lone home start to date, shutting down the Tigers back on April 19th.

The White Sox counter with Javier Vazquez who rebounded from a loss to the Yankees with 8 solid innings of 1 run ball in a no decision against Baltimore. Still, the Jays are now 5-1 the last 6 meetings at the Rogers Centre against the Pale Hose, and I like them to add another win to that total.

Take Toronto to pull of the rare 4-game sweep.

1* TORONTO

The Tigers have Jeremy Bonderman (2-2, 3.86 ERA) on the hill today and he's already beaten the Red Sox once, so he should have the gameplan to do it again.

Bonderman gave up two runs (just one earned) on five hits in five innings of a 7-2 win in Boston back in early April and the Tigers have won four of their last six against the Red Sox. And in Comerica Park in Detroit, the Sox are just 1-4 in their last five visits.

Detroit is 6-0 against Boston with Bonderman on the hill the last few seasons and he's allowed just two earned runs in three straight outings, including Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Yankees in the Bronx. Against the Red Sox, Bonderman has allowed three runs or less in seven of his last eight starts against them.

Diasuke Matsuzaka (4-0, 2.52 ERA) goes for Boston and his only trip to Comerica in Detroit he got shelled, giving up six runs on 10 hits in five innings of a 6-5 loss.

The Tigers are 6-2 at home and 12-4 when Bonderman opens a series. Let's play Detroit to get this one.

3* DETROIT

Tony Mathews

Matchup: New York Mets vs. Los Angeles Dodgers

Selection: New York/Los Angeles Over 8.5

Explanation: We expect a high-scoring game as the New York Mets face-off against the Los Angeles Dodgers in Monday's MLB contest.

The New York Mets will use starting pitcher Nelson Figueroa. Nelson Figueroa has been giving up many runs in his starts this season. In fact, Nelson Figueroa has a 4.08 ERA on the season. It's safe to say that the Los Angeles Dodgers will be able to score many runs tonight.

The Los Angeles Dodgers will use starting pitcher Chad Billingsley. Chad Billingsley has also given up many runs in his starts this season. This is shown by Chad Billingsley's 5.20 ERA on the season. It's clear that the New York Mets will be able to score many runs tonight.

The Over is 14-7-1 in the New York Mets last 22 road games, while the Over is 7-1 in the Los Angeles Dodgers last 8 home games.

Take the New York Mets/Los Angeles Dodgers Over 8.5!

Terron Chapman

Texas Rangers vs. Seattle Mariners
Play: Texas Rangers

The Seattle Mariners have lost five straight and six of their last seven. The last five have been brutal as they have scored an avg 1.8 runs/gm. In their weekend series with the Yankees they managed to score just four runs in three games.

Now they return home from the east coast to face a division rival that has won four of it's last five and will be in good position tonight to get back on track. The Texas Rangers will send Kevin Millwood to the mound who has yet to earn a win on the road this season but has been stellar despite his record. In two starts on the road, Millwood has an ERA of 1.80 and has yet to allow a homer. In his last start in Seattle he held the Mariners to four hits and two runs, none of them earned however in 5-2 Rangers loss.

He will be opposed by Jarod Washburn who has struggled all season. Washburn comes into tonight's game having lost four straight decisions and four straight starts against the Rangers. In his last outing he was tagged for six hits and five earned runs in an 8-3 loss at Cleveland. The Mariners are 1-7 in Washburn's last 8 starts with the chalk. The Rangers get it done tonight for the first in a long time in Seattle. Play 1 unit on the Texas Rangers.

1 Unit on LA Angels -126

The Angels have been great on the road this season, winning 10 of their first 15 away games. They have also been very good behind Santana, who has returned to his 2006 form. The Angels are 4-0 in Santana's last 4 starts, 5-1 in Santana's last 6 road starts, and 16-5 in Santana's last 21 starts as a favorite. The Royals are 1-6 in their last 7 vs. the American League West, 9-20 in their last 29 games as an underdog of +110 to +150, and 3-13 in their last 16 home games with the total set at 9.0-10.5. The Angels are 18-6 in the last 24 meetings in Kansas City. Take the Halos.

3* on Chicago Cubs -102

The Cincinnati Reds have lost 5 straight games and it doesn’t look to get any easier against the Cubs Monday. Rookie Johnny Cueto (1-3, 5.40 ERA) will take the mound for the Reds in this one. He was tagged for seven runs - six earned - and eight hits over just 1 2/3 innings during Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals. He will be opposed by Ryan Dempster (4-0, 3.16 ERA), who is seeking his fifth straight winning decision. The righthander gave up three runs on four hits and five walks over six frames in a 19-5 rout of the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday. Dempster is 4-1 in 8 career starts against the Reds. He has owned this ball club over the years. Bet Chicago on the road.

Ted Sevransky

Boston Red Sox @ Detroit Tigers
PICK: Boston Red Sox

REASON FOR PICK: Daisuke Matsuzaka has been nothing short of phenomenal for the Red Sox so far this season. Boston has won all six of his starts. Dice-K is coming off a brilliant seven inning, two hit performance against Toronto. He’s allowed only 20 hits in 35.2 innings of work, striking out 32 batters in the process. Opposing hitters are batting just .162 against him, and his control has been stellar in each of his last two outings after struggling with walks earlier in the campaign.

Matsuzaka threw 6.2 innings of scoreless four hit baseball against the Tigers in his previous start against them last month. And the Tigers offense, held to a single run in each of their first two games of their series at Minnesota over the weekend, pounded out six first inning runs yesterday, then reverted to their previous form, held scoreless the rest of the way as the Twins rallied back to win the game 7-6.

Jeremy Bonderman has a 5.19 ERA at home this year, in sharp contrast to his 2.55 road ERA. It was a similar story last year for the Tigers righty, with a losing record at home and a ERA over five at Comerica Park. With a miserable 18-23 strikeout to walk ratio, look for the patient Red Sox lineup to give Bonderman trouble again this evening. Boston pounded out 26 runs against the Rays in a sweep over Tampa Bay this past weekend. There’s little reason to think the winning streak won’t continue tonight. Take Boston.

Game: Los Angeles Angels vs. Kansas City Royals

Plays On: Los Angeles Angels -1.5 Runs

Game Analyses: The Los Angeles Angels should be able to beat the Kansas City Royals by at least two runs on Monday. With that said, we will take the Los Angeles Angels on the Run Line (-1.5 Runs).

The Los Angeles Angels will be lead by starting pitcher Ervin Santana. Ervin Santana has pitched very well this season. In fact, Ervin Santana is a Perfect 5-0 with a 2.48 ERA. In addition, Ervin Santana is a Perfect 3-0 with a 1.71 ERA in his last 3 starts. To say the least, we see Ervin Santana pitching another great game today.

The Kansas City Royals will be lead by starting pitcher Brett Tomko. Just as we expected, Brett Tomko is having a very bad season. In fact, Brett Tomko is 1-3 with a 6.26 ERA. In addition, Brett Tomko has a 10.05 ERA in his last 3 starts. The bottom line, Brett Tomko will give up many runs once again today.

The Los Angeles Angels have proven success against the Kansas City Royals. In fact, the Los Angeles Angels are 38-17 in their last 55 meetings against the Kansas City Royals.

Take the Los Angeles Angels -1.5 Runs

Doc's Sports

Pick:Los Angeles -130 over Kansas City

The Dodgers are one of the hottest teams in baseball and although they lost yesterday to end their streak, they will start a new one tonight @ the Stadium taking on the Metropolitans. This should be a high scoring game and the Dodger bats are finally starting to come alive. They have strong young hitters and will give Chad Billingsley the run support he needs on Monday. Doc’s Sports has a strong card going on Monday and wants you along for the winning ride.
