IceD,
I saw this original post yesterday and was surprised Teddy Covers would lay -180 with the Fish for a Big Ticket play.
Had a bunch of beers in me early evening yesterday and I jumped on the play BIG knowing full well I was committing cardinal sin with laying that price.
Fish went down 2-0 early, rallied to tie in the 5th, and went ahead bottom 8, held on in 9th for win.
When I got in this morning saw that it was a mistake.
How did that happen?
Not bitching one bit, just curious. Nobody's perfect.
Lastly, thanks for your service to the forum w/ posting plays etc..

Teddy Covers
Big Ticket - Florida
Rockies/Dodgers Over
Scratch the Big Ticket play. It is UNCONFIRMED and likely incorrect.
The source of the original post was incorrect.
It's hard to confirm the posts immediately, and luckily this was caught within 20 minutes. While it did seem odd that Covers would lay the 180, he's had a poor run and it didn't stand out too much.
I follow Teddy and think he's a good capper.
Apologies for the first (incorrect) post. I'm very glad the error worked in your favor!
I, on the other hand, played the Dodgers for 4 units and the over for 4 units (Teddy's totals play and a loss).
Back to the grind today and good luck!
Thanks for the explanation.
Teddy was one of the hottest cappers the first two months of the MLB season and yes he has been ice cold the past month. Give him some time.
Someone has been posting plays to look like his with the phrase " Big Ticket " in it with no capper name for a few days now and can't remember if this is where this play came from.
