He has been better on the road than at home posting a 2.32 ERA while going 9-1 in 15 road starts. He has allowed two runs or fewer in eight of his last nine outings so he is in there giving the Giants a chance to win every time out. Against San Diego he has a 1.13 ERA and 0.88 WHIP in seven career starts.
He will be opposed by Chris Young who has been up and down since his return from the disabled list. He is coming off a great start against the Brewers as he pitched a complete game in a 10-1 victory. He almost made history as he was four outs away from a perfect game and that works in our favor here and it is very unlikely we will see another dominating effort.
