Boston/Cleveland Over 176 (POD)
12-3 Last 15 NBA POD Playoff Selections.
As I write this write-up for this selection, I still haven't made up my mind weather or not to take the Magic, but what I do know is that I am taking the over on this game as the POD as I had it siphoned from yesterday. After all, I've always stated that when Boston hits the road they are vulnerable and this is more true than ever today as they face the Cavs who are 2-0 against them at home, have their backs to the wall, these are still the defending Eastern Conference Champs, they have been horrible on the road scoring but more competent at home, Wally Z came on shooting in the first 2 ballgames a bit, I expect him to do better, I expect this team to get plenty of calls in their favor as Boston did in Boston, I expect this game to go over similar to the first 2 ballgames in this series in Boston that went over 200 points. Do note that Cleveland simply scores more at home and you get the low price on the total today because of the first 2 ballgames, but note that in Boston it is a different story as defense took precedence and Cleveland did not push the evenelope scoring as they will today, I expect Cleveland to take an early lead, Boston to play catch up and send this game over the posted total. Over is 5-1 when the Celtics face a team on the road with a winning home record and the over is 5-2 in Boston's last 7 road contests.

NASCAR at DARLINGTON : TO WIN =
1.) DENNY HAMLIN +750 (1*)...Hamling should have definately gotten the win last week so I really look for him to be right there again in this race tonight...we should see Gibbs Racing do well tonight with the new surface and I feel that both Hamlin & Busch will be near or at the front when this one comes to a close and because Darlington is the type of course that so much can go wrong with the amount of cautions and wrecks...I decided to be a little more conservative this week as we try to put our Profits to work and will take one mid-odds dog and one long-shot only, rather than back a few drivers that I feel are worthy...because like I said, its Darlington and anything will and usually does happen...
CARD EDWARDS +1500 (1*)...now I have seen his odds, from a high of +1850 at Pinny, to a low of +1200 at Sportbook, so even though I made my wager at the best I could find, for grading purposes I chose an average price because I like to know that if my balance shows profit, then your's will also...now on to the 2nd selection...I just happend to catch the race last night and Carl Edwards Won the pole and seemed so excited to go out and get a win, when immediately on LAP 1, he hit the wall, and his car got banged up and he was forced to take it into the garage...and even though I know he is starting way back in this one, it just seems like the kind of night where anything may happen and Carl may just get that Win he is so focused on getting...so lets go ahead and use Edwards as our long-shot dog tonight...
