Oakland at San Francisco

Oakland is 21-7-2 UNDER vs. an opponent who allowed 5 or more runs in their last game and they are 44-21-2 UNDER vs. NL West teams. The A's are 9-4-2 UNDER with Rich Harden in Game 2 of a series and and they are 20-8 UNDER at San Francisco. The Giants are 7-1 UNDER with Matt Cain in Game 2 of a series and they are 8-1-1 UNDER in his last 10 Saturday games. Cain has a 3.25 ERA in 4 career starts vs. Oakland.

CHICAGO CUBS at TORONTO
Play Toronto for 1 unit

The Toronto Blue Jays will have their ace Roy Holiday (8-5, 3.07) going for his sixth straight victory when he takes the mound against the Cubs. The Blue jays have played solid baseball at home when Holiday takes the mound with a record of 42-10. Over his last three starts Holiday has posted an ERA of 2.91. The Cubs lost last night on their first game on Turf 3-2 to the Blue Jays. Overall, The Cubs are just 14-17 on the road. The Cubs have only seen Holiday once, and were held to 2 earned runs over seven innings. With Holiday pitching as well as he is, look for the Blue Jays to win this game at home.

Drew Gordan

Pittsburgh +115 at BALTIMORE

First things first, Zach Duke has been on point over his last 3 starts, going 2-1 with a 2.75 ERA, looking a lot like the 2005 version of himself (when he went an impressive 8-2 with 1.81 ERA). He was rock-solid in his last one, besting Randy Johnson and the D-Backs, allowing 2 runs over 6 solid innings of work. Expect more of the same tonight, as we grab the plus money behind the Pirates surging southpaw!

Opposing Duke is the Orioles Radhames Liz, who's been decent in his two starts since getting called up. He's allowed 4 runs in 10 1/3 innings, but before you go jumping on his bandwagon, try and remember, this is the same guy who went 0-2 with a 11.48 ERA in 4 starts last year! Its going to take some quality wins by Liz before I forget last season, and right now, he's just not there yet.

Finally, despite losing a game they should've won yesterday, the Pirates have been playing well of late, winners of 4 of their last 6, including Duke's last start against Arizona. They jumped all over Burres early yesterday, but couldn't maintain the lead in the 9-6 loss. Remember guys, the Orioles went 1-8 in Interleague home games last season, and if any pitcher is going to help them bounce back, it'll be the surging Duke in this one. Grab the plus money with the Pirates tonight at Camden Yards!

Take Pittsburgh behind Duke over Baltimore and Liz in this MLB match up.

Seattle Storm @ Houston Comets

Pick: 3 units (Play of the Day) TOTAL: Under 145

The Seattle Storm play the Houston Comets today. These two teams have played UNDER the last four times they have played. The Seattle Storm have gone under five of their last seven games. The Seattle Storm are two and eight to the under overall. Seven of Seattle’s last eight games have not gone over the number set for this game. Houston’s games usually end up right in the range of this total and Seattle’s end up lower so I think they play at the pace of the better Seattle team and play this game under the total.

Chicago Cubs @ Toronto Blue Jays

Pick: 3 units (Normal) TOTAL: Under 8

Both the Cubs and Blue Jays are under teams, the cubs slightly and the Blue Jays by a lot. The Under is never a bad bet when Roy Halladay is on the mound. And Jason Marquis is pitching well right now, having won 3 out his last 4 starts. The available pitchers in the blue jays bullpen tonight have a whip of 1.29 over their last 3 games and for the cubs its 1.19 so the bullpens should be able to keep the game low scoring if the starters can hold their end of the bargain.

BIG AL's INTERLEAGUE TOTAL OF THE YEAR!

At 7:05pm our selection is on the New York Yankees and Houston Astros 'under' the total. For all of his accomplishments, most people are aware that 39-year-old righthander Mike Mussina has never won a World Series ring. But people may not be aware that Mussina has never hit another milestone that great Major League starters are measured against. The Moose has also never had a 20-win season. This probably won't be the year that Mussina gets his ring, but it may very well be the season that he reaches the 20-win mark. Mussina already has nine wins and we're still a month away from the All-Star break. These two teams haven't played each other since 2003 when they met three times in interleague play and Mussina started (and won) one of those games. In fact this was the only time that Mussina has ever faced the Astros. Lefthander Wandy Rodriguez gets the start for Houston and he has pitched very well this season with an ERA under two runs (and under 1 run at home), however he has only won two of the seven games he has started due to some very poor run support. The 'under' is 15-6 in New York's last 21 road games, and 17-7-1 in Houston's last 25 overall. And the Astros are 28-14 'under' as an underdog, while the Yankees are 16-4 'under' as a road fave this season. Interleague Total of the Year on the 'under'.
