NFL Preseason Football
Lions -3 over Browns
Cleveland did not look good at all in their last game and got a scare with Anderson received a concussion. Brady Quinn will get most of the snaps tonight, but you have to think the Browns will be a bit cautious not to get another QB banged up. The Lions have a host of good wide receivers that should be more dominate then Cleveland's. Take the Lions at home.

Panthers -3 over Redskins
Washington will be playing in their fourth preseason game and have actually looked decent however this will be head coach Jim Zorn's very first game at making the play calls and will be a good test for him. I think Zorn will hit some bumps in the road as will Jason Campbell who I am not sold on as a starting QB in this league. Carolina will blitz the Skins all night and should get the home win.

Raiders/Cardinals Over 37.5
The Raiders know they can run the ball, but today's game will be all about the Ariel attack which will either put points on the board or give points off turnovers to the Cardinals. I don't care either way. Arizona has good offensive players and should put up additional points in the second half with Kurt Warner. He maybe washed up but I will take him any day against backups in a preseason game. Take the Over.

Major League Baseball
Angels -140 over Twins
Garland/Blackburn

King Creole

New York Giants @ New York Jets
Play on: UNDER

One can arguably state that NFL pre-season series history results carries as much weight (if not more) than in regular season play. We have used this UNDER in each of the last 5 years as a play... and we're not about to get off yet. We will ALWAYS play for an OU streak (or ATS streak, for that matter) to CONTINUE.... rather than stepping in front of it.

The NY Giants and NY Jets play each other EVERY year in the pre-season. And the last 7 meetings dating back to 2000 have ALL gone "UNDER" the Total. And the games haven;t even been close, from an Over / Under standpoint. Check out these final scores: 20-12 (under by 4.5)... 13-7 (under by 16.5)... 15-14 (under by 8.5)... 17-10 (under by 13.5)... 15-14 (under by 7.5)... 28-7 (under by 1.5)... and 17-14 (under by 2.5). That's ongoing streak of 0-7 O/U in the last 7 meetings with an average combined point total of only 29.0 points per game. Average OU margin in this series is -7.8 PPG. That means the average game has gone UNDER by more than a touchdown and an extra point.

Tonight's OU line in this game stands at anywhere from 37 to 38 points. I wouldn't mind it falling to 37 or 37.5. That's because WEEK THREE pre-season games with a closing (kick-off) line of 37-37.5 points have gone 3-12 O/U since the 2000 season. Let's not forget the short week of preparation for the Giants, who hosted a Monday night vs Cleveland 5 short days ago. Pre-Season teams who hosted a Monday nighter in their last game (Giants) are 3-9 O/U since the 2004 season.
