Here we go, Game Seven of the Atlanta-Boston series, and we will once again go OVER the total in this showdown in Beantown.
We have scored with the OVER as a comp play winner in the last two games, and we will score once again with another high-scoring affair in the series finale.
The last 4 games in this series have all gone OVER, and our feeling is with this being an elimination game for both teams, you will see time-outs, fouls, long, desperate three-balls, etc., etc., as both the Hawks and the Celtics leave it all on the floor in the hopes of keeping their seasons alive.
Dating back to the regular season, Atlanta has now played OVER the posted price in 9 of their last 12 games, while the Caeltics have eclipsed the total in 5 of their last 7.
Play the OVER!

Total winner today in the West Conference, as the Jazz-Lakers play true to form, and head OVER the posted total.
10 of the last 14 series meetings between Utah, and Los Angeles have slipped OVER the posted price, and I would say the Lakers are due for a high-scoring game after 3 straight UNDERS in their first round series with the Nuggets.
20 of Utah's last 26 games contested against the Pacific Division have played HIGH, and I can picture this game seeing the teams hitting the century mark.
Go OVER in Game One of the West Semis.

The D'Backs have shown they are the best team in the National League up to this point and today they have a great chance to really make a point as they go up against the Mets and star lefty Johan Santana (3-2, 3.05 ERA) with they new pitching star, Danny Haren (4-1, 3.13).
Haren has been perfect in Arizona this season, going 4-0 with a 1.69 ERA. Money he had his worst outing at home when he allowed three runs on five hits in 7.2 innings of a 5-3 win over the Astros. Other than that, he hadn't allowed more than one earned run in a home outing.
The D'Backs have had great success against southpaws like Santana, going 8-2 against them at Chase Field and 35-16 against them overall. Also, this young squad has loved the home cooking the last couple seasons, going 37-17 in front of the home folks.
The Mets have had very good success in Arizona they last three or four seasons and they players for the D'Backs know that. They came out and lit it up Saturday in getting the 10-4 victory and they'll get enough off Santana to get the win.
This is likely something around the 4-3 or 4-2 area, but the D'Backs are going to get the job done. Play Arizona.

The Tigers have won 8 of 11 games with the powerful offense finally clicking. Like the offense, veteran lefty Kenny Rogers has found a groove after a rough start. The Tigers are 3-0 his last three starts. Minnesota is averaging just 3.4 runs per game at home and starter Boof Bonser is 2-4 on the year. An excellent spot for the hot road team. Play the Tigers!

Ben Sheet's is the #2 ranked Pitcher in the National League with a 5-0 team record +$557. Sheets has been untouchable during the day going 2-0 with a 1.17 ERA Striking out 20 batters and Walking only 4. Ben Sheets is also a Perfect 3-0 with a 2.25 ERA in road starts this season. More impressive numbers on Sheets is another perfect 3-0 mark with a 3.06 ERA in his last 3 starts entering play this afternoon. Do you see what I am getting at yet? A Huge pitching advantage for the Brewers. The Astros will counter with right handed Chris Sampson. Sampson ranks #47 among National League starters as the Astros are 2-3 -$30 in Sampson's 5 starts this season...Chris Sampson has been just terrible over his last 3 starts, A 1-2 record with an ERA of 9.75. Sampson has allowed 21 hits and 5 walks in his last 12 innings of service. That's an OPS of .458. That is way to many base runners for this Brewers aggressive line up. The Brewers lost to the Astros last night and are in perfect position to "Bounce Back" with there Ace on the mound. It is also important to note that although the Brewers struggled on the road in 2007, they have played much better and much more profitable in 2008 with a 9-9 +$217 record. The Brewers are also 5-1 in there last 6 games as a road favorite. Want more? As if I didn't stress my point that today's investment is based on Ben Sheet's performance, I must also mention that the Brewers are a perfect 7-0 in Sheets last 7 road starts. With all the facts stated were getting Sheets at a discount price of $150... 100* Inside Info Selection - Brewers

New York Rangers vs Pittsburgh Penguins
Pittsburgh Penguins -165
The Rangers finally did some skating to postpone their exit from the playoffs and avoid the sweep with a 3-0 win over the Penguins. now back to business and we see Pittsburgh getting back to their game today. Penguins for 3 units!

(listing Sheets and Sampson)
We'll lay a little juice to get Sheets here with as dominant as he has been on the road. The Brewers are 7-0 in Sheets' last 7 road starts, 4-0 in Sheets' last 4 starts vs. the National League Central, 4-0 in Sheets' last 4 Sunday starts, and 5-0 in Sheets' last 5 starts after scoring 2 runs or less in their previous game. The Astros are 0-8 in Sampson's last 8 starts vs. a team with a winning record, 0-5 in Sampson's last 5 starts as a home underdog, and 4-11 in Sampson's last 15 starts as an underdog period. After being held to just 2 runs yesterday, I like the Brewers to explode for a big day at the plate against the struggling Sampson.

Chicago Cubs at St. Louis Cardinals
The Cubs come into this game after beating the Cardinals 9-3 in yesterday's second game of the series. St. Louis is now only a half a game ahead of the Cubs for first place in the NL Central. The Cubs have gone 4-6 in their last 10 games and the Cardinals have gone 6-4 in their last 10 games. This is the rubber game of the series with each team winning one game in the 3 game set. Taking the mound for the Cubs is Jason Marquis (1-1 4.45 ERA), who will want to bounce back from a bad last outing where he went only 5 innings and gave up 5 earned runs in the loss. In the game yesterday the Cubs scored 9 runs on 12 hits and left 9 men on base. Mike Fontenot homered for the Cubs. Taking the mound for the Cardinals is Todd Wellemeyer (2-1 4.14 ERA) who has pitched well this season and already has 36 strikeouts. In his last outing he went 6 innings giving up 4 earned runs in the loss. In yesterday's loss to the Cubs the Cardinals scored 3 runs on 6 hits and left 5 men on base. Yadier Molina homered for the Cardinals.
Staff Pick: Whoever wins this game will be in first place in the NL Central. Both pitchers are coming off losses and will want to get back in the win column. Marquis wants to bounce back after allowing a season high of five runs and 10 hits in 5 innings against Milwaukee on Tuesday in a 10-7 loss. It was the 3rd time in 5 starts that he has failed to make it through 6 innings. The Cubs have a dangerous lineup and lead the NL in both team batting average (.286) and runs scored (186). The Cardinals also have good bats in their lineup with a team batting average of (.276) and have scored 143 runs. This long time rivalry will be in full force today for the 3rd game of the series and these two teams should be battling it out till the end of the season for the Division crown. The key to this game is the pitching match up and which pitcher can get a quality start. The Cubs will have to contend with Albert Pujols (.359 6 HR 21 RBI) who is swinging a hot bat and is 4th in the National League in batting average. This game is a toss up, but the game is in St. Louis and first place in the Division is at stake. Look for the Cardinals Todd Wellemeyer to pitch a good game against the Cubs, who originally drafted him and for the Cardinals to win the game and cushion their slim lead in the Division.
