VEGAS-RUNNER NASCAR LIFELOCK 400

1.) CARL EDWARDS +500 (1*)...Ford and Dodge have dominated at Michigan, winning the last 13 races there and although I have seen a lot of bettors back Biffle to get it done here today, which have driven his odds down to 4-1 and worse...but I think that Edwards should be the Ford to beat in that 99 car and although I've heard a lot about Chevy being due...if the 13 race win streak does come to an end, I feel that it will be Toyota who gets it done in the COT....

2.) TONY STEWART +1200 (1*)...Now I know that when you look to Toyota, you have to look no further than Kyle Busch, especially since he has the pole this afternoon...but the price on his Gibbs teamate, "Smoke" is just too much to pass up and if you are a fan of the "due" factor...Stewart is definately the driver to back.

US OPEN

1.) TIGER WOODS -155 (1*)...as much as I would have loved to hear one of Vegas' sharpest golf bettors when I called 15min ago say that Westwood at +400 is the man to back, and he said the exact same thing...the bottom line is that the opportunity to take the BEST golfer of our generation, if not, of all time is there...and the asking price is extremely fair considering his performance in majors when leading on the final day...and with the drama surrounding his knee, the stage is set once again, for Tiger to show why he very well may be the best ever...he has proven to be "clutch", when this close to grabbing more hardware...so win or lose, at -155, I will back Tiger at every opportunity like this, especially when "sharps" were bragging last night about having +200 on him at the start

Ross Benjamin 20* Championship Situational Lock

Boston @ Los Angeles

Play On: Boston +7.0 (20*)

The Celtics are 12-1 ATS and 10-3 SU this season as an underdog of 3.0 or more. In that same identical situation if the Celtics are facing a non-conference opponent they improve to 8-0 ATS and 7-1 SU. Since 11/25/2007 the Lakers are 4-5 SU and 1-9 ATS as a non-conference home favorite when they scored 123 points or less in their previous game and are facing an opponent with a winning percentage of .455 or better.

Any playoff away underdog of 3.0 or more with a winning percentage of .750 or better that has won 45 games or less out of their last 82 on the road, and they allowed 90 or more points in their previous game is 16-0 ATS since 1990. The underdog has won 12 of those 16 games outright.

Any playoff home favorite that is coming off a playoff home favorite SU loss by 12 points or less, they have won 40 games or less at home in the current season, and is facing an opponent with a winning percentage of .744 or better is 0-7 SU and ATS since 1990. The underdog has won all 7 of those games outright by an average of 13.1 points per game.

Any playoff away underdog of 2.5 or more that has a win percentage of .697 or better that is playing their 3rd playoff road game in a row, and is facing an opponent with a winning percentage of .745 or less is 6-0 ATS since 1990. The underdog has won 5 of those 6 games outright.

Play on the Celtics plus the points as my NBA Finals 20* Game of the Year.

Florida (Nolasco) @ Tampa Bay (Jackson)

Play On: Florida +140 (10*)

The Tampa Bay starting pitcher Edwin Jackson enters the game in bad form off of his last 3 starts posting a 1.78 WHIP and 6.00 ERA. Jackson is 6-15 in his last 21 team starts versus a team with a winning percentage of better than .500. In 2 career starts versus the Marlins Jackson has posted a whopping 11.04 ERA. The Florida starting pitcher Nolasco enters the game in decent form off of his last 3 starts and seems to be improving as the year wears on. The Marlins are #2 in MLB hitting home runs and look for this to be a key component to getting the win. Play on the Florida Marlins as a 10* selection.

Kansas City (Meche) @ Arizona (Owings)

Play On: Kansas City +130 (10*)

The Arizona starting pitcher Micah Owings enters the game in horrible form off of his last 3 starts posting a 2.05 WHIP and 9.22 ERA. In spite of not having much to show for his efforts the Kansas City starter Gil Meche enters the game in good form off of his last 5 starts posting a 3.70 ERA and 1.34 WHIP. If there is one positive for Kansas City this season it is the fact that they are 13-12 in day games this season as opposed to 13-30 at night. After a terrific start to the season Arizona has tailed off considerably and certainly has shown no consistency over the last month. Play on the Kansas City Royals as a 10* selection.

NBA Basketball
Lakers -7 over Celtics
What a crazy series this has been. Its not often that you see a few 20+ pt leads disappear let alone in an NBA Finals. The Lakers dominated for most of Game Five and really still have a huge advantage being at home. Kobe is the leagues best player and will not want to go out a loser on his home floor. Its do or die for the Lakers and this is where Kobe has to earn his money. Look for at least one more game this year back in Boston. Take the Lakers.

Indian Cowboy'

NBA Basketball - Boston Celtics @ Los Angeles Lakers
3 units (Normal) ATS: Los Angeles Lakers -7

Well I thought that the Lakers would take at least 2 out of 3 on their home floor. It took a 24 point comeback for the Celtics to take a game on the Lakers home court and I don't think they will do that again so I'm going with the Lakers tonight to get their 2nd victory at home and get the cover. The Lakers should be able to show more energy in the game tonight as they know if they lose they are done, but the Celtics have to have it in the back of their mind that they have 2 games to get it done at home if they fail today.

WNBA Basketball - SA Silver Stars @ Indiana Fever
3 units (Play of the Day) ATS: Indiana Fever -7

Today's game is a revenge game for the Indiana Fever. The Indiana Fever lost the first meeting between these two teams on San Antonio's home court and now Indiana will be looking to return the favor. Indiana is 6-2 against the spread in their last eight home games. These two teams score about the same but Indiana has played better defense this year so far. The San Antonio Silver Stars have been just awful on the road this season so far seeing their averages points given up rise by about 10 a game.

MLB Baseball - Texas Rangers @ New York Mets
3 units (Normal) TOTAL: Over 9

Kason Gabbard goes against Pedro Martinez today and this aint your daddy's Pedro Martinez. He has not gone deeper than the 6th yet and has not given up less than 3 in any of his starts. Gabbard has been pitching like trash lately for the Rangers. Texas and NY are both big Over teams. Texas the day after a loss has gone over 23 out of 33 games. Against teams with a losing record Texas has gone over 20 out of 28 games. When facing a left handed starter NY has gone over 60% of the time. I think this game goes over easily today.
