I'm playing the Under in the Tigers/Padres game Sunday. Justin Verlander of the Tigers found his form a few weeks ago. His ERA over his last seven starts is a stellar 2.63. Remember that's in the American League with the DH, and during a time period where scoring increased because the weather was warming up. In context, it's a truly fantastic run. Randy Wolf of San Diego is a fly ball pitcher perfectly suited to his home park. His ERA is 2.45 at home this season, with a WHIP that registers exactly at 1.00. The Padres are 6-1 in his home starts! Both pitchers are in position to thrive in the best pitcher's park in all of baseball. That means you're supposed to play the Under and play it aggressively. The Padres have played extra inning games that lasted hours which registered below today's total. Remember that Detroit can't use a DH in this one because the game will be played in a National League ballpark. The Under in the Tigers/Padres game is the play.
