Tampa Bay Rays at Seattle Mariners

Seattle Mariners are American League’s worst team, just 45-72 this season. The Mariners have dropped 14 of their last 21 games and 10 of its last 14 at home. Seattle starter right-hander R.A. Dickey is 0-1 with a 7.38 ERA in his only career start in 2004 versus the Rays. Contrary, the hot Tampa Bay Rays have won nine of their last 11 games and four of the last 5 in Seattle. Tampa Bay will send Edwin Jackson to the hill. The right-hander is 3-0 with a 4.20 ERA in his last three starts and beat the Mariners in his only career start, allowing two hits over eight shutout innings of a 7-0 victory on April 10. Go with Tampa Bay against the pitiable Mariners this afternoon at Safeco Field.

Wunderdog

Boston at Chicago White Sox
Pick: Chicago White Sox -116

We were on the Red Sox last night as they notched the win. We're flipping over to Chicago for game three in this four game series. Yesterday's loss was costly for Chicago as they lost Jose Contreras for the season. They also lost their lead in the division and we expect them to come out fighting today. Gavin Floyd is 11-6 with a 3.66 ERA. At home he's 7-2 with a 2.93 ERA, giving up just 4.5 hits per start! Boston throws Clay Buchholz, and his 7.68 road ERA and 0-5 record to the wolves here. With him on the mound, Boston is just 3-10 this season and 1-8 on the road the past two seasons. The White Sox average 5.7 runs per game at home this season and against Buchholz they will get their 5+. The Red Sox are just 2-11 this season on the road against a starter who gives up less than six hits per start this season. We feel blessed to get such a short line here, given this pitching matchup and we're jumping on it.

ANA (-121) vs NYY

The Angels just continue to "make their case" as MLB's best team. They used an eight-run 8th-inning yesterday to extend MLB's best overall record to 73-43 and the best record since the break to 16-5, with an 11-4 win over the Yankees. As for the Yankees, after winning their first eight games after the All Star game, Saturday's loss was their NINTH in their last 14 contests. During the last 14 games, Yankee pitchers own a collective 6.95 ERA. Andy Pettitte (12-9, 4.34 ERA) will try and help the Yankees salvage the final game of this series this afternoon. However, Pettitte has not pitched well recently, with a 5.93 ERA over his last five starts (he's failed to make it out of the sixth inning in each of his last two). In this game, he faces an Angel team which is 22-8 on the year vs lefties, including a 4-0 mark in home day games, where the Angels have averaged 8.5 RPG. Joe Saunders (14-5, 3.03 ERA) starts for LA. What a season the lefty has had, as the Angels are 17-5 in his 22 starts (plus-$1,210), making him MLB's second-biggest "money-maker" among starting pitchers. After being shuffled back and forth from the minors to the majors in each of the last two seasons, Saunders has been a mainstay in LA's rotation this year and he's delivered big time. He'll face a slumping Yankee team here, which is only 17-17 vs lefties on the year, including 8-12 on the road (2-4 in road day games, averaging 1.8 RPG). Take the Angels.

The Bookie Pays You:

We are simply UNSTOPPABLE! Here we are looking at SIX IN A
ROW... AGAIN! I've got just two questions for you all... Do you feel like
you've gotten your moneys worth? Do you want to continue this type of
winning? If you answered yes, then you better stay onboard when those

won't get this type of consistency anywhere else. And the funny thing is,
most people don't even know that I exist. lol! But I like it that way. I have
my members, you all are VERY loyal... And I hope that I've shown you
the same type of commitment. Now... Your Sunday release. Let's do a
RAIN DANCE... Cause we're rolling with the INDIANS TODAY! Once
again, I've earned your trust by now, and I hope that you'll simply lay the
money on Cleveland without me having to waste mine and your time
talking about all the small stuff. Indians WILL bring us number SIX
