It doesn't get much bigger than this for the best pitcher in the National League this season. Arizona's Brandon Webb will be going for his major-league leading 20th victory of the season and 10th win at home against a team he has dominated during his career, as he is 10-3 lifetime against the Dodgers with a 2.54 ERA. Of Webb's nine wins at home so far this year, eight of them have been decided by two runs or more. He will also be out for revenge after Arizona's bullpen blew a 4-1 lead for him the last time he faced LA back on July 20, giving up five runs in the ninth inning of a 6-5 loss. Meanwhile, Derek Lowe has been terrible on the road for the Dodgers, going 2-6 with a 5.47 ERA in 13 starts. Lowe is also 4-7 lifetime vs. Arizona with a 4.31 ERA, including 0-3 at Chase Field with a 5.03 ERA. Look for him to struggle again here in this very tough spot on national television. Back the superior pitcher in Webb and bet the D'backs to win big for him on the runline as my Triple Dime NL TV Play O' the Month.

Colorado -11 over Colorado State
Gotta love the Buffs in this spot. I know that none of the last 6 in the seires have been decided by more than 7 points and that the dog is 10-2 ATS the last 12 in the series, but the Rams are just too overmatched this year. Dan Hawkins went 2-10 and 6-7 in his first two years at Colorado and a team usually thrives in the 3rd year of a coaches tenur. Last year Colorado returned 9 starters on offense and they improved their ppg total by 11 ppg, and with 7 starters back this year, including QB Hawkins, they should hit the 30 ppg mark. The defense struggled last year, as they allowed 7 rpg more than '06, but with 8 starters back on that side of the ball this will be a much better unit. The Rams return 7 on offense, but one of their losses was big as Caleb Hanie is now playing on Sundays. The Rams last year improved their ppg total by 8 ppg and without Hanine and 4 of the top 5 WR's they will be hard pressed to top last years 25 ppg mark. Defense is where I really look for the team to struggle as they return jsut 5 starters and none of them are in the trenches. Last year the defense returned 9 starters and still allowed 9 ppg and 85 ypg more than in '06, so it could be a really long year on that side of the ball. The Rams are also learning new schemes on both sides of the ball as new HC Steve Fairchild takes over. Colorado has the edges on both sides of the ball, plus the coaching advantage in this one and I can clearly see them winning by at least 2 TD's
