He has also held opposing hitters to a .219 batting average on the season when pitching in St. Louis. Lohse will be opposed by San Diego's Jake Peavy. Peavy has pitched very well on the season, but his numbers have been mediocre when he has pitched away from pitcher friendly Petco Park. He has made it past the 5th inning only once in his last four road starts. Let's hope that the Cardinals bats continue to stay hot. This is one of those games that may be decided in the later innings after both starters have exited. If that happens, I like my chances with a more powerful Cardinals lineup.
