I don't want to get up in your business with these plays but I just wanted to give you and your followers a little info on our public betting info.
The charts we (and most other sites) carry show the percentage of the number of bets, not actual money wagered. Money moves lines, volume doesn't. So, just because there is 70 or 80% of the public on a game that does not necessarily indicate that side is where the bulk of the money is being wagered.
Additional to that, quite often you will see lines move when the public numbers don't move at all or even in some cases increase. When this occurs this is most likely "sharp money" when an individual or group comes in with a large wager that impacts the betting line.
