Dropped 2 of 3 last time in, on Sunday,
dropped 3 units and juice on the week in MLB,
hit 2 of 3 in the NASCAR forum to get a little back for the week (my week starts Monday, ends Sunday; for accounting purposes, I don't use accrual-type system; when I bet futures they are accounted for on the day they are bet, not event date, so NASCAR results are in last week's ledger.)

One play today, SF/Hou over 8'.
Chart says this one is 10-2 this season but that seems a a little high,
as it was 7-2 on 7/28 and this past week was not the kind of week that saw 3 winners in this play or any other. The notebook I'm looking at is a new one (old one ran out of pages) and all the data (records and descriptions) had to be transferred. I'll double check the record with the previous log. This play is based on combined ERA & HR's, and a few other factors.

UPDATE: record is correct. Reason 7-2 to 10-2 seemed high in a week where I finished with a loss is because I only played one of the three games that were active, Bos/O's on 7/31. The LAA/Min and Det/Cle games that day also fit, and I decided to pick and choose which one to play instead of doing the smart thing and just ride the percentages. Smooth move, Ex-Lax.

Won last play, 1-0 week +1, despite the best efforts of Cooper to screw up again.
From last week:
"I don't trust Cooper, does this guy want to win?
He really hung Wright out to dry last night, 1 hit and FIVE walks in an inning.
After the 5th walk even the announcer commented on Cooper not coming out to get him in a 6-3 Astro's game suddenly turned 6-5:
"Well, this is certainly bizzarre - and he doesn't even have anyone warming up in the bullpen!"

Then the next day he left his starter in AFTER having given up NINE runs.

On Tuesday, my playbook said SF/Hou fits a profitable situation that says take over 8'.
I get 8 runs from visiting SF, should be an easy one, right? Nope.
Houston puts up zip for eight innings.
Then, 1 out, bottom nine, I get a man on second, and . . base hit!
But what does Houston do? They hold the runner at third.
Up by 8, SF most likely wouldn't have even tried to throw the runner out, the throw would be to second to keep the batter at first.
I know Cooper's not in the coaches box at third, but I have to wonder how this team expects to win with stuff like this?
Luckily, the next batter got the run home and got me over the hook above the 8.

Got two today:
Col/Phil Un 8' -105
Sea/KC Un 9' -110
First spot is 4-2 (based on starts, ERA, HR's etc; lost last game)
second is 45-19 (based on scoring from previous night; lost 2 of last 3.)
