Here is EZ Winners (rarely picks big favorites like today)

1 STAR: (907) MILWAUKEE (-$160) over Houston
(Listing Sheets only)
(Risking $160 to win $100)

YESTERDAY'S RECAP - We were 1-0 on Monday. A $100 player won $100. We had a nice easy winner yesterday as the Brew Crew shutout the Astros.
MILWAUKEE (-$145) WON +$100

Larry Ness' 15* Team Mismatch of the Week (33-12 since Aug 7 / 116-42 this season!)
Larry "got lucky" with his 15* win last night on the Cubs (three-run 9th!). However, luck has had little to do with his 33-12 run with his 15* Game of the Week plays since Aug 7 or his simply stunning 116-42 mark with his 15-stars since Opening Day....

15* mets!!

NY Mets @ Washington 7:05 PM EST
Play On: 1* NY Mets -150 (Maine/Hanrahan) Listed

NY Mets are 56-33 last 3 years and 26-10 this year on the road when the total is 9 to 9 1/2. NY Mets are batting .278 on the road this year. NY Mets bullpen has a 3.58 ERA on the road this season. Washington is only scoring 4.0 runs per game overall this year, 3.8 runs per game at home and 3.8 runs per game against right handed starters this season. John Maine is 9-3 on the road this year. NY Mets are 20-5 at Washington last 3 years including 5-1 at Washington this year. Maine is 3-1 overall vs Washington since 1997. We'll recommend a small play on the NY Mets tonight! Scott Spreitzer's MLB Power TKO Value of the Week! -- Tuesday

I'm laying the short price with the Blue Jays in the matchup between Lester & Burnett. Toronto has creamed lefties at home this season going 17-5 in 22 chances. In 40 home/away starts against southpaws this summer, the Jays are plating 5.20 RPG! Boston lefty Jon Lester has been smacked around in his six road starts this season. Toss out a start against the anemic Orioles and you'll find that Lester allowed 18 earned runs and 36 base runners in just 20 1/3 IP, in his previous four away outings. That's a 7.98 ERA & 1.77 WHIP. By the way, Lester has allowed virtually one walk every two innings during the stretch. The Jays counter with A.J. Burnett who owns a 2.56 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and .181 BAA, in 10 home starts this season. Burnett has found success in his three career starts against the AL East leaders and I expect more of the same tonight. Toronto is my TKO GOW

HONDO: CATS CAN DO

September 18, 2007 -- Hondo's "go against the Yanks after they play the Red Sox" theory was disproved last night when the Bombers pummeled the Orioles to cut the cash in take to 255 griches.

Tonight, it's viva Verlander! Ten units on the Tigers to wipe that smile off Chief Wahoo's face.

According to research, 33 percent of men don't wash their hands after using the bathroom, as compared to 12 percent of women. If Hondo's calculations are correct, that would seem to indicate men are nearly three times less likely to be messy than women when relieving themselves.
C'mon, ladies, try to be more careful.

Wunderdog

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Game: Los Angeles Dodgers at Colorado (3:05 PM Eastern)
Pick: Los Angeles Dodgers +107

The Dodgers have quietly gone 17-9 in their last 26 games, and it is because of their pitching, as they have held opponents to four runs or less in 20 of those 26 games. One of the reasons has been the conversion of Chad Billingsley into the starting rotation. Billingsley was roughed up before he got comfortable, and has now won four of his last five starts while pitching to a 1.64 ERA. The Rockies rode a stretch of winning 13 of 15 Francis' starts, but have since gone 3-4, but Francis' struggles began long before that. He has pitched to a 5.30 ERA in his last 16 starts, and has not worked beyond five innings in seven of them. The Rockies have won 20 of Francis' 31 starts, but it isn't what he has done, it is the support he has gotten. The Rockies have averaged 6.65 runs a game in those starts and three runs a game in the 11 losses with him on the hill. Billingsley will keep that total down today, and the Dodgers will take GAME 1 of this doubleheader. THIS IS A GAME 1 PICK.
