Black Widow Sports

1* on Chicago White Sox -170

Javier Vasquez won’t be letting his team lose at home to the lowly Pittsburgh Pirates Tuesday. Vasquez is 4-1 with a 4.26 ERA at home while his opponent in Ian Snell is just 1-4 with a 7.40 ERA on the road. Pittsburgh is 1-13 (-11.6 Units) against the money line in road games after a win this season. The Pirates cannot seem to string together victories this year when playing on the road. Pittsburgh is 21-56 (-30.7 Units) against the money line in road games in an inter-league game since 1997. The Pirates are also 5-24 (-16.5 Units) against the money line in road games vs. a very good bullpen whose WHIP is 1.250 or better over the last 3 seasons. This game is over before it even starts. Take the White Sox on the Money Line at home.

Info Plays

3* on San Francisco Giants +110

Jonathan Sanchez is one of the best starters in the National League that nobody has heard about. He is 3-0 over his last 3 starts and Sanchez is also 2-1 with a 2.74 ERA in home starts this season. Play On - Home underdogs with a money line of +100 or higher (SAN FRANCISCO) - with a starting pitcher whose gives up 0.5 or less HR's/start, playing on Tuesday. This is a 48-25 ML System hitting 65.8% over the last 5 seasons. Play Against - Road favorites with a money line of -110 or higher (DETROIT) - with a starting pitcher whose strikes out 3 or less batters per start, with a hot starting pitcher- WHIP <= 1.000 over his last 3 starts. This is a 45-24 ML System hitting 65.2% since 1997. Kenny Rogers is over the hill and his inability to strike out hitters these days gets him in many jams. Bet the Giants at home.

See You In The Winners Circle NBA Playoff Lock of the Year

Take the Boston Celtics -4 at home over the LA Lakers as our Tuesday Play of the Day. Its also our NBA Playoff Lock of the Year. The Worlds Greatest Scamdicapper of All Time, Stu Feiner has released the LA Lakers as his 4,000,000 dime play. That makes the Celtics a Lock! Stu is like a broken record, losing five in a row in this playoff series betting the Lakers. His idea of money management is to double your bet after each loss. Even Stu admits its bad money management. Everyone is invited to the banquet we have planned in Stu's honor here in Nevada. We have scheduled Mike Warren to be the Master of Ceremonies. Pants required. We are flying Stu out here first class, paid for by our profits from fading his picks. Stu will be awarded a nice trophy and a 20 inch Steely Dan for his personal use. More details to follow. Good luck on the Celtics, but you won't need luck as Stuie is on the other side!

Lenny Del Genio's 25* NBA Finals Game of the Year **Won Total of the Year**

Play on LA Lakers

For the first time in the series, the public has sided with Boston, probably feeling that a team that has gone 12-1 SU (8-5 ATS) is a shoe-in to clinch the NBA Championship following a near miss in Game 5. The Celtics incredible 7-0 ATS mark vs. the Lakers this season is probably also a factor. However, now we feel the time is perfect to go the other way. The Lakers five straight losses against the spread matches a season high set from 3/26 to 4/4. How did the team perform the next time out. With a 114-92 win in Sacramento, of course! Now, Boston is certainly head and shoulders above the Kings, but this Celtics team seems to struggle in potential close out games, going 1-3 SU/ATS thus far in the postseason. They couldn't close out Atlanta in Game 6 nor Cleveland in a Game 6 nor the Lakers in Game 5. They did close out the Pistons, however, given their first opportunity in the Conference Finals. Granted, all those games were played outside of Boston, but this is a team that outside of Paul Pierce clearly lacks a capable scoring option. Kevin Garnett is simply anti-clutch and injuries to both Perkins and Rondo are beginning to take a toll. The Lakers have won and covered as dogs exactly one time in every series thus far and we feel that Game 6 is their night. This is a team that remains 15-8 vs. the number in the road underdog role and we look for them to force a deciding Game Seven. LA Lakers are our 25* NBA Finals Game of the Year.

STEVE JANUS

NY METS

I'll bite hard on Johan Santana as an underdog on Tuesday. The Mets are 7-1 in their last 8 interleague games and if they can ever learn to capitalize on Johan's pitching, they'd be in good shape. Santana is 9-5 on the year, but considering he's just 1-1 in his last 3 starts yet has an 0.87 ERA in those starts tells me that the Mets are just a few key hits away in any one of Santana's starts to pick up a win. Great value as the Angels are only 5 games over .500 at home this season.

DUSTIN HAWKINS

WHITE SOX

Good team vs. ave team. The White Sox bats have been red hot and with quality pitching are finding ways to win!! JAVIER VAZQUEZ (6-5) on the mound to make things tough on the Pirates. I see Chicago scoring early and taking a good lead into the clubhouse with a victory!!! Take the White Sox to the bank

JOHN FINA

New York/Los Angeles Under 7

Today we expect a low-scoring game as the New York Mets do battle with the Los Angeles Angels. One reason why we expect a low-scoring game is because both these teams will be sending to the mound very solid starting pitchers. This says it all... The New York Mets Starting Pitcher (Johan Santana) has a 0.87 ERA in his last 3 starts, while Los Angeles Angels Starting Pitcher (John Lackey) has a 1.61 ERA in his last 3 starts. In addition, the Under is a Perfect 6-0 in John Lackey's 6 starts this season. As you can see, these starting pitchers will give up very few hits and runs today. To say the least, we should see very little scoring today! Take the New York Mets/Los Angeles Angels Under 7

TONY WESTON

Weve got a pretty strong pitching matchup tonight as the Oakland Athletics and pitcher Justin Duchscherer take on the Arizona Diamondbacks and Brandon Webb.

As good as Duchscherer has been this season, with a 6-4 record and a razor thin 2.20 ERA, hes been anything but good on the road. Hes 1-4 on the road this season and has lost his last three starts away from home, having allowed six earned runs in 17 2/3 innings of work.

He and the As will have their work cutout for them as they get a shot at Webb, who is 11-2 this season with a 2.73 ERA. At home this year though his ERA is a tad higher than his season ERA (2.78), he is a perfect 6-0 in front of the home fans.

The DBacks are also 22-14 at home this season, while the As are 16-14 on the road, but are only 5-7 their last 12 games away from home.

Pencil in Webb as your starting pitcher and take Arizona at home.

3* DIAMONDBACKS

SPORTS GAMBLING HOTLINE

We have to believe tonight's game from Boston is going to hold UNDER the posted total.

Yes, we got burned by playing the UNDER on Sunday, but the numbers still bear out a play on the LOW in this game, as 8 of the Lakers last 10 playoff games have landed UNDER the posted price, while 6 of the last 9 playoff games for the Celtics have stayed UNDER.

The Lakers have also played UNDER the posted price in 7 of their last 8 when installed as the underdog.

Boston knows darn well they cannot allow the Lakers to get off to the fast starts that they had in Games Four, and Five, so expect the defensive pressure to be amped up from the beginning tonight.

Also consider that the playoff season has been going on for quite some time for both clubs, and you can assume there are some tired legs, and arms on the parquet floor tonight, and that can certainly have a bearing on the total points scored in this one.

Bottom line, we like the UNDER in this game.

Play the LOW!

3* UNDER

TONY MATHEWS

Oakland Athletics vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

Selection: Oakland/Arizona Under 7.5

Explanation: We expect a low-scoring game as the Oakland Athletics face-off against the Arizona Diamondbacks in Wednesday's MLB game.

The Oakland Athletics will use starting pitcher Justin Duchscherer. Justin Duchscherer has pitched well this season which is shown by his 2.20 ERA on the season. Justin Duchscherer should be able to hold the Arizona Diamondbacks to very few hits and runs.

The Arizona Diamondbacks will use starting pitcher Brandon Webb. Brandon Webb has also pitched well this season which is shown by his 2.73 ERA on the season. In addition, Brandon Webb has a 1.71 ERA in his last 3 starts. Brandon Webb should also be able to hold the Oakland Athletics to very few hits and runs.

The Under is 9-3 in the last 12 meetings between these teams, and we expect to see another low-scoring game today!

Take the Oakland Athletics/Arizona Diamondbacks Under 7.5
