Charlotte Bobcats vs. New York Knicks
Play: Charlotte Bobcats

Lets give some credit to the young Bobcats, winning 5 of 9 games. The only losses were to playoff teams, Boston, Cleveland, Toronto and Utah. That win streak includes victories as an underdog at Portland and the LA Lakers. They take on a terrible NY Knick team that has packed in the season, losing 10 of their last 12 and coming off a big win in Detroit where Isiah tried to impress his old team. The Knicks are 15-23 ATS at home. Pick on the Cahrlotte Bobcats

Winning Points Online

DETROIT (Bonderman) +110 over BOSTON (Lester)

Things are getting pretty desperate in Detroit these days, with the Tigers stumbling out of the gate in 2008 (-$1145 so far). But we'll look for them to break through here at Fenway Park tonight. The Tigers had very impressive numbers vs. lefties in 2007, including a 14-5 mark in road night games (+$1135 with 5.8 runs per game). And because the Red Sox command such high prices at home, they actually lost money here in night games last year (-$1125). Detroit is far too good to be 0-7, and tonight looks like a perfect opportunity to put their first notch in the win column.

***BEST BET
Charlotte over New York by 11

Isiah Thomas, off two wins against opponents that had absolutely nothing to play for, and, also, off a phony-baloney feel-good night in Detroit, where he went back in time to get his ego stroked in the 107th different night of Detroit honoring past champion Piston teams. Bad coach, bad team, zero time to prepare against an opponent that isn't much, but isn't on a tank trail to the playoffs like Detroit and Orlando were. CHARLOTTE, 111-100.
