Jimmy The Moose

Colorado Rockies at Philadelphia Phillies
Prediction: Over

Reason: Colorado has played the over in 4 of their last 5 games. The over is 7-1 in their last 8 games vs. NL East opponents. The over is 6-2 in their last 8 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Philadelphia has played the over in 3 straight and 5 of their last 7 games. The over is 5-1 in their last 6 home games where they have been the favorite. The over is 5-1 in the Rockies last 6 trips to Philadelphia. The team's have also played the over in 5 of their last 6 meetings overall. Play the over.

VEGAS EXPERTS

Detroit Tigers at Los Angeles Angels

Detroit continues to struggle mightily, losing again last night to the Angels, 3-2, their eighth setback in ten games here and third straight loss overall. Now, they must deal with Joe Saunders, who is unbeaten at home this year with an ERA of 2.73. Hard to believe that Saunders is actually getting better as the year goes on, but that's what his ERA over his last three starts (1.66) would seem to indicate. His only loss this year was a 2-0 decision.

Play on: LA Angels

LAS VEGAS TECH REPORT (LVTR)

DETROIT REDWINGS vs PITTSBURGH PENGUINS

SELECTION: REDWINGS / PENGUINS OVER 5

Comments: We don't make many NHL selections but we have been perfect in the play-offs. Today's complimentary selection is on the OVER 5 in tonight's Redwings / Penguins match-up. Penguins are down and scoring has come at a minimum. When you have a team backed into the corner, they will loosen up and take more chances which either results in more production or more mistakes. Either way, it equates to more scoring for either side. Penguins can't afford to go down 3-1. they are at home where their comfort level should be increased and the Vegas line is set low at 5. If any game in this series is to go Over the number, it will be tonight.

Take the OVER 5

Red Wings vs. Penguins

Our selection for Wednesday in Stanley Cup Play-off Action is Penguins-Red Wings OVER the TOTAL as we expect the young Penguins to respond in front of their home crowd and make this a very interesting game.

Toronto at OAKLAND -115

Oakland is riding a five-game home winning streak, and will bring it all to home plate tonight against former Cy Young winner Roy Halladay. I like our chances in this pitching clash, as Rich Harden is 3-0 with a 2.93 ERA this season and pitched very well at home this season, going 2-0 with a 1.59 ERA in three starts.

The right-hander has given up two runs or less in four of his five starts. Lay the low chalk with Oakland in this one.

TONY WESTON

Coming into this game the Texas Rangers are only 14-16 on the road. However, they are 5-2 their last seven games away from home and are 8-4 their last 12 games on the road.

Also consider that Rangers starting pitcher Kason Gabbard, who is scheduled to start today, has a 3.38 ERA on the road, almost a full run less than his season ERA of 4.34. Texas is also 4-1 in five Gabbard road starts.

Gabbard will get another strong road performance and lead Texas to a victory over Tampa.

Pencil in Gabbard as your pitcher and take the Rangers on the road.

Big Al

Pittsburgh Pirates at Cincinnati Reds
Prediction: Cincinnati Reds

Reason: At 7:10pm our member selection is on the Cincinnati Reds over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Don't look now, but the rejuvenated Reds just might have the best offense in the National League at the moment. For starters, outfielder Adam Dunn might be the hottest hitter this side of Lance Berkman. With yet another homer on Tuesday, Dunn now has eight over his last eleven games. We're used to seeing homers from Dunn, but we're also used to seeing a batting average around .240. But with Dunn's latest hot streak we've seen his average go from .203 (low even for his standards) all the way to .252, which means that Dunn has batted somewhere around .425 during this time. And as if Dunn didn't have enough offense around him in the lineup already (Ken Griffey, Brandon Phillips, etc.), the Reds just called up their number one prospect from the minors, outfielder Jay Bruce. You can't tear it up at the AAA level any more than Bruce has been this year and he has definitely earned this first trip to the big show. Bruce rewarded the Reds for the call-up by having a huge night going 3 for 3 with 2 runs and 2 RBI hitting in the #2 spot on Tuesday against this Pirate team. Expect more of the same tonight and for Bruce to be fixture in the outfield for the Reds for a long time to come. Take Cincy

Selection: Milwaukee Brewers -125

Today the Atlanta Braves will be on the road as they take on the Milwaukee Brewers. We will side with the Milwaukee Brewers! One reason why we will side with the Milwaukee Brewers is because they will be sending to the mound the starting pitcher who has been pitching a lot better as of late. This says it all... The Atlanta Braves Starting Pitcher (Jo Jo Reyes) has a poor 7.56 ERA in his last 3 starts, while Milwaukee Brewers Starting Pitcher (Jeff Suppan) has a solid 2.89 ERA in his last 3 starts. As you can see, the Milwaukee Brewers will be sending to the mound the much better starting pitcher. To say the least, we see the Milwaukee Brewers beating the Atlanta Braves tonight! Take the Milwaukee Brewers!

Houston Astros vs. St. Louis Cardinals
Play : Houston Astros +130

Game Analyses: There is a lot of value on Wednesday with the Houston Astros as underdogs.

The Houston Astros will be lead by starting pitcher Wandy Rodriguez. Wandy Rodriguez has pitched well this season which is shown by his solid 2.31 ERA on the season. Wandy Rodriguez also has a 0.98 ERA in his last 3 starts. It's clear that Wandy Rodriguez has been a very good pitcher this season.

The St. Louis Cardinals will be lead by starting pitcher Adam Wainwright. Adam Wainwright has been having pitching problems as of late. In fact, Adam Wainwright has a 5.30 ERA in his last 3 starts. We see Adam Wainwright having another bad start today.

The Houston Astros have been playing solid baseball on the road. In fact, the Houston Astros are 8-3 in their last 11 road games.

Take the Houston Astros!

Sports Gambling Hotline

Detroit at BOSTON

Through the first four games played in this series, we have seen three games stay below the posted price. Dating back to the regular season, these teams have gone LOW in 7 of the last 8 meetings.

It just seems that the defense is able to dictate play for long periods of time when these two teams are on the floor, and with neither team showing much from behind the arc, we get the feeling the UNDER is going to be the way to go once again this evening in Beantown.

Of Detroit's 15 playoff games to date, only 5 have found their way OVER the posted price, while Boston has played UNDER the posted total in 8 of their last 12 playoff games to date.

Stick with the LOW tonight.

Karl Garrett

Atlanta at MILWAUKEE -120

I say go-against the Atlanta Braves on the road this evening!

Atlanta is a monster 22-7 in their own ball park, but when they hit the road, the Bravos are a pathetic 6-17. Included is a 3-2 loss last night to a Milwaukee team that is starting to show signs of life, winning 5 of their last 8 games.

Milwaukee has only played 21 games at home, while they have played a whopping 31 games on the road! Expect the Brewers to make some hay now that they are in their own ball yard where they are 12-9.

Jeff Suppan's home ERA is just over 1, while Jo Jo Reyes brings a sky-high 5.84 ERA for the year into this road start, and Reyes is off a shellacking at the hands of the Diamondbacks in his last start.

Milwaukee gets the nod in this one.

2* MILWAUKEE

Carlo Campanella

New York Yankees at Baltimore Orioles
Prediction: Baltimore Orioles

Reason: The Yankees are road Favorites in Baltimore on Wednesday as they start Pettitte on the mound, but we'll back the home Dog in this affair. NY is just 1-2 during his last 3 trips to the mound and he's been shelled for 10 Earned Runs in just 16 Innings Pitched during those three starts. With Yanks struggling to an 11-14 road record this season, doubt their 3.7 runs per game away from home will be enough run support for Pettitte to earn the victory...Solid ATTACK DOG here.

Great Lakes Sports

San Francisco at Arizona
Play on: Arizona Diamondbacks

The Arizona Diamondbacks are a very solid 4-1 vs the San Francisco Giants this year including 14-7 vs the San Francisco Giants the last three years. The Arizona Diamondbacks is also 20-5 vs Division opponents this year, and 12-3 at home home where the total is between 9 to 9.5 this year. We look for the Arizona Diamondbacks to dismantle the San Francisco Giants for the home division win tonight.
