After dropping two straight games to the Cubs the Brewers will get over on their NL Central rival tonight.

Even though the Brewers have lost back-to-back games to the Cubbies and are on a three-game losing streak they?re still 9-4 their last 13 games.

But Milwaukee will get over due to scheduled starting pitcher Manny Parra. Parra is 9-3 this season with a 3.72 ERA and is 5-1 this year with a 3.15 ERA at home. Also, the Brewers are 7-5 in his 12 home starts.

Parra will shut down the Cubs and lead the Brewers to a much-needed win. Pencil in Parra as your starting pitcher and go with Milwaukee at home.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. San Diego Padres
Selection: Arizona Diamondbacks -145

The Arizona Diamondbacks will use starting pitcher Dan Haren. Dan Haren has pitched well this season. In fact, Dan Haren has a 2.56 ERA on the season. In addition, Dan Haren has a 1.17 ERA in his last 3 starts. We see Dan Haren pitching another great game today.

The San Diego Padres will use starting pitcher Cha Seung Baek. Cha Seung Baek has struggled this season. In fact, Cha Seung Baek has a 4.86 ERA on the season. We see Cha Seung Baek having another bad game today.

Trend #1: The San Diego Padres are 5-14 in their last 19 games as an underdog.

Trend#2: The San Diego Padres are 3-13 in their last 16 home games.

Take the Arizona Diamondbacks!

Chicago/Minnesota Over 10.5

Today we see a high-scoring game as the Chicago White Sox do battle with the Minnesota Twins. One reason why we expect a high-scoring game is because both these teams will send to the mound struggling starting pitchers. This says it all... The Chicago White Sox Starting Pitcher (Gavin Floyd) has a 6.14 ERA in his last 3 starts, while Minnesota Twins Starting Pitcher (Livan Hernandez) has a 6.05 ERA in his last 3 starts. As you can see, both these starting pitchers have been struggling as of late. The Over is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings between these teams, and we expect to see another high-scoring game today! Take the Chicago White Sox/Minnesota Twins Over 10.5!

Vegas Experts

Detroit Tigers at Cleveland Indians

Cliff Lee has been the lone bright spot for an otherwise disappointing Cleveland Indians team this year as the Tribe has won 15 of his 20 starts this season. When any other starter toes the rubber, they are a hideous 22 games under .500! Lee has been perfect at home this year, going 6-0, and he's won his last three starts overall by posting a 1.57 ERA. Nate Robertson has been horrible his last three starts (8.81 ERA) and the Tigers went 0-4 vs. Cleveland last year when he was on the hill.

Play on: Cleveland

Matt Fargo

New York Mets vs. Florida Marlins
Play: New York Mets

The Mets remain a half-game up on the Phillies in the National League East thanks to the big win last night in Florida. New York remains one of the hottest teams in baseball as it is 16-5 over its last 21 games. Since mid-June, it is 12-7 in its last 19 road games. The recent run has been a mix of solid hitting and pitching as they have outscored the opposition by a total of 39 runs. With the win last night, the Mets are 13-3 in the last 16 meetings in Florida.

Florida has been hanging around in the division but it has been unable to put any sort of run together. The Marlins are 6-7 over their last 13 games including a pedestrian 4-4 mark at home. The bats have fallen off over the last 10 games as they are hitting just .211 over that span while averaging a mere 3.4 rpg. It actually goes back even further as they have averaged only 3.6 rpg over their last 19 games. Scoring against the Mets is no better as in the eight meetings this year, they have averaged only 3.9 rpg.

That offense will likely struggle again tonight as it goes against one of the hottest pitchers around in Mike Pelfrey. He has a horrible May, going 0-5 with a 5.35 ERA in six starts but the last two months have been tremendous. He is 7-0 with a 2.56 ERA in 10 starts over the last two months. Seven of his last 11 starts have been quality outings with another falling just short by a half-inning. His control has been outstanding as he has walked just one batter over his last four starts. The Mets are 10-1 in his last 11 starts.

Josh Johnson is coming back slowly as he has recorded three consecutive solid starts after coming back from Tommy John surgery. He has one quality start in the mix with the other two falling short because of a limit on pitch counts. You will see that he is 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA in three career starts against the Mets but he has not faced them since 2006. He has faced the big guns of Beltran, Delgado and Wright only a combined 17 times. In his three starts, he has a WHIP of 1.53 which is very below average. Play New York Mets 1.5 Units

Arizona at San Diego

Arizona is 8-2 in the last 10 starts made by Danny Haren and they are 6-1 vs. a starter who has a WHIP over 1.30. Haren is in Awesome KW form with a better than 5 to 1 strikeout to walk ratio in his last 3 starts. San Diego is 5-17 their last 22 games vs. righty starters and they are 6-20 in Game 3 of a series. The Padres are 3-13 their last 16 home games and they are 14-40 their last 54 games vs. winning teams. PLAY ON ARIZONA

Priceless Picks

1 Unit on Washington Nationals +130

As bad as Washington is, they always have a chance to win with Redding on the hill. We'll back him here at a great price. The Nationals are 6-0 in Redding's last 6 home starts, 5-1 in Redding's last 6 starts vs. a team with a winning record, 6-0 in Redding's last 6 starts as a home underdog, and 10-3 in Redding's last 13 starts following a team loss in their previous game. The Phillies are just 2-5 in Moyer's last 7 starts, 2-6 in Moyer's last 8 starts as a road favorite, and 0-4 in Moyer's last 4 starts during game 2 of a series. Redding will win this battle. Take the Nats.

The Bookie Pays You:

--------------------------

If we've ever hit the nail on the head, it was last night.

We told you that the Angels clearly had a huge pitching advantage... Can you
say NO HITTER THROUGH THE EIGHTH!

Tonight we're looking to start yet another winning streak, and who better to
do it than the Texas Rangers!

Get on the Rangers tonight as they take on the Seattle Mariners.

We could go on and on with a list of reasons why Texas WILL win this
one tonight, but we're not even going to waste your time.

With the way we've DOMINATED the MLB over the past few weeks...
We hope you'll just take our word for it.

GET ON THE RANGERS! ****

Thanks.

1 Unit on NY Mets -118

The Mets are red hot and they send their hottest starter to the mound today. The Mets are 13-3 in the last 16 meetings in Florida , 16-5 in their last 21 overall, and 12-4 in their last 16 games as a favorite. The Mets are 10-1 in Pelfrey's last 11 starts, 5-0 in Pelfrey's last 5 road starts, and 5-0 in Pelfrey's last 5 starts vs. a team with a winning record. Dominantion continues for the Mets against the Fish.

Black Magic Sports

1 Unit on Tampa Bay Rays -111

Toronto’s Scott Richmond is making his first start of the year against the AL East leading Rays Wednesday. It’s not going to be a start Richmond will want to remember. Edwin Jackson of the Rays is 3-2 in nine road starts for a 3.71 ERA. Jackson pitched 8 scoreless innings at Toronto back on May 8th, 2008. He’ll remember that start and come into Wednesday’s game with great confidence. Toronto is 5-19 after having won 6 or 7 of their last 8 games over the last 2 seasons. They were shut out by the Rays last night and don’t be surprised if there’s a zero on the scoreboard for Toronto when this one is over. Tampa Bay is 24-11 vs. AL teams allowing 4.2 or less runs/game on the season this season. Cash in with the Rays as the favorite.

Rocketman

Arizona @ San Diego
Play:1* Arizona -140

Arizona is 11-4 last 3 years and 7-0 this year when the total is 7 or less. Arizona is 6-0 this year on the road when the total is 7 or less. San Diego is 3-13 this year when playing on Wednesday. San Diego is 12-32 this year when playing against a team with a winning record. Arizona bullpen has a 3.60 ERA on the road this year. San Diego is scoring only 3.8 runs per game overall, 3.6 runs per game at home and 3.8 runs per game against right handed starters this season. Dan Haren is 10-5 with a 2.56 ERA overall this year, 2.96 ERA on the road this year and 2-0 with a 1.17 ERA his last 3 starts. Baek is 0-5 with a 6.39 ERA at home this year. Haren has a 1.73 ERA overall vs San Diego since 1997. We'll recommend a small play on Arizona tonight!
