(The Spread) – A winner will be crowned tonight in the 2011 CBI Championship, as Creighton and Oregon will meet for the last time this season.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog.com have made Oregon a 4-point favorite over Creighton in Game 3 of the CBI Championship. The over/under total for this game is currently sitting at 141 points.
The action got started on Monday night when Creighton beat Oregon 84-76 as a 5-point favorite. The combined score of 160 points sailed over the posted total of 143. Doug McDermott led the Bluejays with 21 points and four rebounds, while Joevan Catron had a team-high 15 points and nine boards for the Ducks.
In Game 2 on Wednesday, the Ducks returned the favor by pounding the Bluejays 71-58 and covering as a 4.5-point favorite. This time, however, the combined score of 129 points fell under the posted total of 144.
Tonight, a champion will be crowned.
CBI Conference Championship Free Pick: The Ducks have the more explosive offense but Creighton counters with the better defense. Oregon converts free throws at a higher percentage, while Creighton has a higher field goal percentage. Like the other two games this week, this contest tonight appears to be a toss up. That said, I’ve gone with the Bluejays in the previous two games and I’m going to stick with them for better or worse. Creighton is 4-0 against the number in their last four games following a straight up loss and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall, according to latest college basketball trends. They’re also 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games as a road underdog, while Oregon is 1-4 ATS in its last five Friday night games. Take the Bluejays to win the CBI championship.
