2013 College Basketball Ohio State vs. Michigan Picks & Predictions
By ATSSportsline.com

ANN ARBOR, MI (ATS Consultants) – Ohio State handed Michigan its first loss of the season three weeks ago but will the Wolverines get their revenge tonight when the two teams clash at 9:00PM ET?

Last game: (1/13/13) OHIO STATE (-2) over Michigan, 56-53. Ohio State is coming off four straight wins, which included a 63-56 win over Nebraska on Saturday. But they didn't cover the 12. Michigan had a four-game losing streak halted on Saturday night at Indiana, 81-73, getting 5.5. That put Indiana back to the number one spot, while Michigan is now #3. Trey Burke leads the Wolverines in scoring with 18.2 points per game and assists with 7.2 per game.

ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed Michigan as a 7.5-point favorite over Ohio State for tonight’s game, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 132 points. The Buckeyes are 17-4 overall and 7-2 in the Big Ten this year, while the Wolverines are 20-2 overall and 7-2 in the conference.

LINE MOVEMENT: Michigan opened as 6-point favorites but the line has been bet up to 7.5 at most sports books. The total, meanwhile, opened at 133 but has been bet down to either 132 or 131.5 depending on the book.

PUBLIC BETTING: Of the wagers placed on tonight’s game, 53% of college basketball public bettors currently favor the Wolverines. This information is subject to change, however, so make sure you click on the link provided for the most up-to-date public betting numbers.

NCAA FREE PICK: Take Michigan. According to latest college basketball trends, Michigan is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record, 5-1 ATS in their last 6 Tuesday games, 14-5 ATS in their last 19 games following a ATS loss, 37-17 ATS in their last 54 games following a S.U. loss, 43-21-2 ATS in their last 66 games overall and 7-3 ATS last 10 in series.

Just over three weeks ago, No. 10 Ohio State handed No. 3 Michigan its first loss of the season and denied the Wolverines a chance to claim the No. 1 national ranking for the first time in 20 years. Wolverines are coming off an 81-73 loss Saturday night at Indiana that knocked them out of the No. 1 spot. At home, Michigan is one of the best in the nation. The Wolverines are 13-0 at Crisler Center this season and 28-1 over the last two years. Point guard Trey Burke led the way Saturday for Michigan, finishing with 25 points and eight assists. Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 18 points but nobody else had more than 10 on a night the Wolverines, one of America's best shooting teams, shot just 42.9 percent. Ohio State has won 17 of 20 in this series but fell 56-51 in its last visit to Michigan on Feb. 18. The Buckeyes were ranked sixth in that matchup while the Wolverines were No. 17. Expect Michigan to bounce back from the Indiana loss in a big way.
