2013 NBA Playoffs Bulls vs. Nets Game 5 Picks & Predictions
By ATSSportsline.com

BROOKLYN, NY (ATS Consultants) – The Bulls will attempt to close out their first-round series against the Nets tonight when the two teams meet at the Barclays Center at 7:00PM ET.

ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Nets as 5.5-point favorites over the Bulls, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 180.5 points. Both of these teams split against the spread in this series, trading off ATS wins every other game starting with Brooklyn’s cover as a 4.5-point favorite in Game 1.

LINE MOVEMENT: The Bulls opened as 6-point underdogs but the spread has been bet down to 5.5 at most sports books. As for the total, it went from 180 up to 180.5 at both online and Vegas books.

PUBLIC BETTING: Of the current wagers placed on tonight’s game, 51% of NBA public bettors currently favor the Nets. This information is subject to change, however, so make sure you click on the link provided to get the most updated public betting numbers.

NBA FREE PICK: Take the under. According to latest NBA trends, Chicago is 1-6 Under last 7 games after allowing more than 125 points in their previous game, 2-6 Under last 8 road games and 14-30-1 Under last 45 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game. Brooklyn is 2-5 Under last 7 games after allowing more than 125 points in their previous game.

Chicago (48-38 SU, 38-48 ATS, 39-46-1 O/U) is hoping to close out the series, while Brooklyn (50-36 SU, 41-42-3 ATS, 43-42-1 O/U) looks to bounce back from a devastating Game 4 loss. Both these teams should be worn out after a three-overtime slugfest on Saturday. Yes, it went well over the total but Chicago somehow scored 35 points in the fourth quarter to come back from a 14-point deficit led by Nate Robinson's 23 points. In this game, Chicago will not have point guard Kirk Hinrich, who played 60 minutes in Game 4 and will miss this contest due to a calf injury. Deron Williams played 58 minutes and Brook Lopez played 51 for the Nets. The Bulls are running out of healthy bodies. The Bulls take on the Nets from Barclays Center on Monday at 7pmET.
