2013 NBA Playoffs Pacers vs. Heat Game 2 Picks & Predictions
By ATSSportsline.com

MIAMI, FL (ATS Consultants) – The Pacers and Heat will square off in Game 2 tonight as Indiana will try to even the series.

ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Heat as 7.5-point favorites over the Pacers, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 182 points. Indiana currently trails in this series one-games-to-none.

LINE MOVEMENT: The Heat opened as 5-point favorites but their odds have jumped to 7.5 at most online and Vegas sports books, while the total opened as 180.5 and has been bet up to 182.

PUBLIC BETTING: Of the current wagers placed on tonight’s game, 61% of NBA public bettors currently favor the Pacers. This information is subject to change, however, so make sure you click on the link provided to get the most updated public betting numbers.

NBA FREE PICK: Take the over. According to latest NBA trends, Indiana is 6-1 Over last 7 in series, 12-2 Over last 14 following a SU loss and 1-4-1 Over last 17 playing on 1 days rest. Maim is 6-1 Over last 7 Conference Finals games and 4-1 Over last 5 overall.

This Pacers couldn't get over the hump in Game 1, as James scored two layups in the last 10 seconds as they fell in overtime. But when they look back, the Pacers had many opportunities to win the game in regulation. They turned it over 20 times and that may have been partially due to inexperience. Paul George had a very good opener with 27 points, but also had six turnovers and allowed James to drive to the basketball without Roy Hibbert (benched for some reason) to patrol the paint. Miami also struggled with turnovers in the opener, as they had 20, but the good news is the Dwyane Wade played 41 minutes with a sore knee and scored 19 points. Ray Allen had a terrible game, missing seven of his shots from the field and a key free throw late in the game. Expect Allen to bounce back and the Heat to play a better game offensively. The Pacers' young backcourt of Lance Stephenson and George Hill also struggled shooting 4-of-19 overall. Expect them to improve in Game 2 and this game to go over the total.
