2013 Sweet 16 March Madness Oregon vs. Louisville Picks & Predictions
By ATSSportsline.com

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (ATS Consultants) – Oregon is arguably one of the best twelfth seeds in NCAA tournament history. Will the Ducks pull off another upset when they take on top-seeded Louisville at 7:15PM ET tonight?

ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Cardinals are 10.5-point favorites over the Ducks, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 130 points. Louisville enters play with a 31-5 overall record while Oregon is 28-8 overall.

LINE MOVEMENT: The Cardinals opened as a 9.5-point favorite but the spread has been bet up to 10.5 points at most online and Vegas sports books. As for the total, it opened at 127.5 but it's been bet up to 129.5, 130 or 130.5 depending on what sports book you view.

PUBLIC BETTING: Of the wagers placed on tonight’s game, 57% of college basketball public bettors currently favor the Ducks. This information is subject to change, however, so make sure you click on the link provided for the most up-to-date public betting numbers.

MARCH MADNESS FREE PICK: Take Louisville. According to latest college basketball trends, Louisville is 7-0 ATS in their last 7 NCAA Tournament games, 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall, 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a SU win of more than 20 points, 6-2 ATS in their last 8 non conference games, 20-7 ATS in their last 27 neutral site games and 36-16 ATS in their last 52 games following a ATS win.

Oregon (28-8 SU, 15-18-1 ATS) is coming off a 74-57 win over St. Louis, getting 4.5 last Saturday. They've won five straight games. Louisville (31-5 SU, 22-14 ATS) is the hottest team left in the bracket with a 12-game winning streak. The Cardinals crushed Colorado State, 82-56 on Saturday, giving 11, to reach the Sweet 16. Oregon is definitely an underrated #12 seed and they showed it by defeating St. Louis and Oklahoma State as underdogs. But they never faced a team like Louisville, who has the experience, defense, guard play and perimeter shooting to win the whole thing going away. The are second in the nation in turnover margin (+6.3) and in steals per game with 11. Oregon has solid guards led by Dominic Artis and Damyean Dotson but they haven't faced this type of pressure. Center Gorgui Deng is the neutralizer for Louisville because he controls the paint and the backboards. Louisville guard Russ Smith is averaging 25 points per game in the first two contests for Louisville. The Cards should run away with this game late in the first half in into the second half.

2013 MARCH MADESS FREE PICK: LOUISVILLE CARDINALS -10.5
