2014 NBA Championship Odds to Win - Heat Favored

(The Spread) - The earliest odds to win the 2013-14 NBA Championship have been released and no surprise, the Miami Heat have opened as the favorites.
According to oddsmakers, the Heat are +230 money line favorites to win next year's NBA title. The Thunder have the next best odds at 9/2 while the Bulls are 6/1 with the expected return of Derrick Rose. The defending Western Conference champions the Spurs are 7/1 to win next season's championship.
Continuing with the odds, the Clippers and Rockets are both 10/1, respectively, while the Pacers are 15/1 and the Grizzlies and Lakers are 20/1, respectively. The Knicks and Warriors share 22/1 odds, respectively, while the Nuggets are 25/1 and the Nets and Mavericks are 30/1, respectively.
Some of the mid-range long shots include the Celtics, who are 50/1, and the Hawks, whoa re 75/1. The Timberwovles, Bucks, 76ers, Blazers and Jazz are 100/1, respectively, while the Pelicans, Cavs and Kings are all 150/1, respectively. The Wizards and Raptors are both 200/1, respectively, to win the 2013-14 NBA title, while the Suns and Pistons are 300/1 and the Magic are 400/1. The Bobcats have the worst odds at 500/1.
There's no shortage of offseason storylines to follow following this year's title between the Spurs and the Heat. For starters, will Miami keep its current Big 3 intact? Will Tim Duncan and/or Manu Ginobili retire? Will the Celtics trade Doc Rivers to the Clippers? Will Kobe Bryant return from his Achilles injury in November or December?
The NBA is heading for an interesting next few months.
